You'd be surprised how much east Malvern are paying this year.
My top 3 would be
dingley
clayton ( or what they promised )
east Malvern
If you counted the St.pauls players on Mercoulias payroll, they would be No 1
And if East Bri didn't have the amount of injuries they would be in top 3

We didn't talk Freo into coming back. He wanted to test himself at a higher level. He did a pre season there and wasn't enjoying it without his mates. He never left for financial reasons and never returned for financial reasons either.

We were shattered to lose Freo, but we have never held any of our kids back from trying to play a higher standard and further their footy. Noble offered him $350. I can tell you he returned for less than a 1/3 of that and it was Freo who came back to Dingley not Dingley ringing him trying to change his mind. Not sure how it works at your club.

Heard on SFL radio yesterday that the league in is talks with 2 clubs to enter the league next year.
1 club we were told is pretty much over the line, the other is interested in what the league has to present. The only info that was given was that club is based out west but is located this side of the river. Was told that club might to Port Melb Colts.

Can anyone confirm any more details? Is the first club Keysey (at long last)??

Did hear that Keysy had basically cashed all tickets from a financial point of view and are only a members vote from being across the line, with the committee pushing for a change. And the players are sick of losing and not being all that competitive, a yes vote is all but assured. But there is probably a fair amount of chinese whispers as I didn't hear first hand from someone at Keysy now

I have no idea about the standard of your comp and am not trying to bag it, but Grazer could seriously not get a kick, let alone kick a goal the year he played with us, yet he kicks bags for you guys. Come back Collo the goal square in Cohuna is all yours!!!

I think youll find Grazer and a couple of other forwards only kick a few bags a year, but only against the bottom couple of sides.
There is only a few good key fullbacks this year now that Quick & Moor have left so a good year for a tall forward if your any good.

Batfink I think you will find he is pretty badly injured and even shouldn't be playing, one of the boys was chatting with him a few weeks back and he was seriously thinking of pulling the pin on the season. Full backs up here are pretty solid, you generally get your midfield full of blokes chasing coin but are quality as well as a key forward like Collo, then your CHB/CHF/FB are usually your gun locals. Does vary from club to club and year to year but that is a general run down.
