Hopefully so If you are in fact talking about Elvis, firstly his language and abuse he caused after the bentleigh game in finals and then was stupid enough to put it on the Oakleigh facebook page for all the clubs to see.
His not part of your club anymore so what does it matter. <<<< right about here champ...

I see big Arvo has officially jumped ship (I wonder if his clearance will get denied like most of OD others) OD still have som big losses even though Stevie Wright went. I feel they will struggle this year. Mordy must have 25 ins, lots of St Bedes boys in there too. Let's get some talk happening on here.

Does anyone know how Springy Districts are travelling? Haven't heard much about them thus far.

Not many outgoings on the clearance list so look like they're are holding last year's team together. Haven't seen any listed recruits yet or are they holding the cards close to their chest?

From what I have heard Caulfield have done some decent recruiting. Some good quality from Wodonga, Albury way along with some VFL ressie links. I'm doubting they will be getting too many hidings.

Looking at last years teams along with losses and new recruits I wanna know everyones thoughts on the top 4 this year. I'll give it a crack based on my opinion

Just giving my opinions, we've lost some good players. Not sure how well we have recruited either. Just interested in everyone elses opinions

Haha bigTwix never one to talk Skye up, I'll think I'll slot Skye in between Mordialloc & Bentleigh. Last year's comp was the most even comp with only 2 games seperating positions 1 to 6. Its a tough ask but here's my top 5 & why.

1.Mordialloc - Down from Div 1 & have recruited well from the Parkdale Mentone area so they get my respect
2.Skye - Got close to GF last year, have lost a couple of players but gained a few. Will be formidable opponents again.
3.Bentleigh - Will be hoping for a double chance this season, recuited some good blokes to the club that will play senior footy. Fingers crossed with some bias here.
4. Murrumbeena - Sleeping giant. Haven't heard boo out of them yet which tells me their keep things under wraps. Havent recuited much but have a lot of colts from last year that can play 1s footy. Could go high as 2
5. Hampton - The more I think about this team, the more I like. Underrated side last year will be even harder to beat in 2013 especially at The Toolbox. Some might disagree but they're my smokey.

Might as well do quickly talk about all the competition...

6. Oakleigh Dist. - A little stiff too be down this far, but then again so were Springy Dist last year missing out by only % from finishing 4th. Have lost Arvanitis, Elvis, Kandakji & Josh Wright + a couple of others, hard to replace those but they've gained a playing coach who's brought a couple of mates with him. Could make a fool of me here

7. Springvale Dist. - Can't believe I'm putting them this far down, but forgive me have heard nothing about them, not have they listed any recruits. Were stiff to miss finals last year, but with no new recruits I can't say they'll improve to make top 5. But my word will be still tough to beat & going to give top team a shake.

8 Moorabbin - Lost their BOG from last year's GF to Hampton plus a couple of others. Will need a year or 2 to find their feet in Div 2

South Yarra - Dodged a bullet last year but you only play where they put you. Will improve on last year though.

Caulfield - Will be another long year but may not be as bad as 2011, but will see

I left about half through the 3rd quarter & we were about 5 goals down, not sure of the end scoreline. Certainly found out the difference between Div 1 & Div 2. Bigger bodies more polished skills & a continuous flow of play. No stop start. That Purvis...yep can play!!

Praccy match 1 of 3 vs a Division 1 club down. Heatherton next week then St Paul's after Easter. Will be better for the experience
