Confirmed it was an incorrect number allocated to a player which took us over, once corrected we were within the requirements.
If you guys played with that player at a points value over the cap then that’s a breach of the rules. You can change the points for the next week after getting league approval but for the game in question the players points value can’t be changed after the fact.

League approval was already given for said player at the lower number, it's already been looked at and is a non-issue with the league so that's all that matters.

Tips for this weekend:

Doveton vs Hampton
Mount Waverley vs Skye
Keysborough
vs East Brighton
Murrumbeena vs Clayton
Highett vs Caulfield

Not going to give margins as still getting to know the teams.

Couple of big match-ups this week. What's people thoughts on Beena v Doveton Eagles and Caulfield v Keysie?
I will go Doveton by 4 goals & Keysie by 2 goals.

I’m expecting Caulfield to put in a much better showing than their last couple of efforts. I think Keysie still to get the win though.

I hear theres a few changes this week for Doveton. Maybe a less than full strength eagles side to take the field?
That one should be a great game.

Beena had 4 outs (LJ one of them) and were able to get the job done quite easily

Sure did. Eagles didn’t fire a shot. Very disappointing day for my lot. Murrumbeena looked a very good line up and were in control from the first bounce. Disappointing that we put in our worst effort in what shaped as our biggest test so far.

Shots fired haha

Where has Sheen played the last few years? Saw he kicked most of his bags around 8 - 10 years ago so interested as to what his recent form is like.

111 in 2014 at Maffra
86 in 2015 at Maffra
45 in 2016 (in half a season at Narre)
49 in 2017 ( not playing FF)

Good numbers considering he played plenty of time up the ground in recent years.

Prior to that he kicked huge totals. He’s 29 so has plenty of footy in him.

That's pretty good form heading into this season. Will be good having him and LJ in for the next time we meet.

Cyril Khandaki from Heatherton to Doveton Eagles, how could that possibly go wrong.
Obviously the old no D...Head Policy not in place at Power Rd lol

Will be interesting to see how they fit him in, their selected side is 46 points this week, he would be a 4 point player (at least), as a senior community player with 3 or more clubs in 3 years.

As it stood with Heatherton was listed as 5 points, so 4 points at Doveton?

Their last 3 rounds have been at 45, 46 & 46.

At Heatherton there was an extra point for coming from a Premier Comp - SEFNL I think.
For Doveton he comes from a Div 3 club.

I don't actually know what the points are for him - just my read from being the points admin at another club in the division.

if he initially went to heatherton from a premier comp plus been at 3 clubs in 3 years he would very likely be a 5 pointer I would assume. esp changing mid season. coming from div 3 to div 2 really makes no difference in my experience. I was at a div 2 club last year and our highest points player (5pts) came from div 3.....

Pretty quiet in here, anyone care to put some tips forward for the weekend?

Mount Waverley vs East Brighton - Should be a good game between 7th & 8th on the ladder. EB by 3 goals.

Murrumbeena vs Caulfield - I'm biased so take it with a grain of salt, Beena by 5 goals.

Doveton Eagles vs Skye - Doveton by heaps. 80+ points

Highett vs Hampton - Should be a close one this also, Highett by 2 goals.

Keysborough vs Clayton - Keysey by heaps. 100+ points.

EB by 3 goals over Mount.
I’ve seen EB twice now and they aren’t far off being a very good side.

Beena by 5 goals over Caulfield.
Watched a half of Beena v Keysie last week and they are playing good Footy. If the Bears bring their best they can push them.

Doveton to beat Skye.

Highett by 5 goals over Hampton.
Hammers in form but a strong Highett at home will be too good.

Keysie to bounce back from last weeks loss and defeat Clayton.
