That's not the case at all and you know it, same happened with Luke Jackson, he never "nominated" a club but it was only ever Fremantle in the race, same situation here.
It's nice to know Richmond fans easily believe whatever the media tells them though.

WA media propaganda machine is letting their teams down. The West has dropped the ball being to Harley focused.
If WC dont get some top picks in this draft, they will be screwed by the time Tassie starts sucking up the talent.
They need to hit the draft big time. I wouldnt be giving pick 13 for Baker. 2nd Rounder and a F2 maybe.

Why are Richmond fans in this thread trying to make out like West Coast are still in the race and that Freo fans should be scared?
West Coast are not in the position to do this trade both in terms of their list, their list needs, and their draft capital. The only pick they have is pick 3 and they would be utterly ****ing stupid beyond comprehension to part ways with that when they really need to be committed to the rebuild.
Freo are the only horse in this race and Richmond need the picks so Freo well and truly in the box seat

West Coast are not in this race no matter how hard Richmond fans try and convince themselves they are. It makes zero sense for West Coast and Richmond aren’t getting pick 3.
You’ll take 9 & 16 from us, otherwise you miss out on two 1st rounders when you need them most and keep a player who doesn’t want to be there and prolong your rebuild, and we’ll go after Pickett instead
I'd 100% agree but there is still this talk in the media, it baffles me why, if it is just a one-horse race as your saying then it doesn't make sense.

It's a no lose situation for me. We are more likely to Bolton than not and if we don't then the Eagles have well and truly lost the plot and will be at the foot of the ladder for years to come!!
The people who should be most worried about this news are Richmond supporters. If Bolton wants to go to the Eagles then there's no way you are getting pick 3 and there's no way that the Eagles can give you the best deal between the two WA clubs.

As long as your consistent on the media reporting. If you believe they are accurately reporting 13 as the main part for Baker, you have to also accept 9 and 16 is accurate.
