I get the feeling that Geelong’s pick 10 might come into play given McAdam is so integral to the Crows lineup. Pretty sure pick 13 is going to the Eagles for Bailey Williams.
Bedford had three years at the Dees for 18 games and 9 goals, and was the very definition of fringe. McAdam is a far better player.Pick 24. are you absolutely delusional? Yeah and Bedford is about 5-6 years younger. Bedford is a far better player than McAdam now. he was really important for GWS this year and stood up.

Well, McAdam hasn't had to voluntarily relinquish his vice captaincy due to multiple drink driving incidents, and he hasn't had month long club bans, nor been forced into club mandated alcohol counselling - there are a lot of reasons why Hunter's trade value was INCREDIBLY low, and we don't need to repeat those rumours here.Pick 24. are you absolutely delusional? Bedford was an Academy selection you got with almost the last pick of the draft and they played 18 games for you across four years, 10 as a medical sub.
The Crows GENUINELY want to keep McAdam who is best 22. It's not comparable.

For you, he played the majority of his games as a sub. It's a ridiculous comparison.
Both got 12 goals this year, McAdam from 7 games and Bedford from 19. McAdam is a far better forward and that's a big hole for Melbourne.

no-one would take McAdam over Bedford. Bedford has elite speed. And applies elite pressure. Melksham kicked more goals than McAdam if you take out his subbed games. Pretty close even if you include it. So does that mean Melksham is much better than McAdam?

Irony here - dees fans parading how they think Bedford is the better player..yet they ditched him and now are tapping up McAdam who they say is inferior to play in the forward line to help fill the goals shortage void they now have..maybe should have just hung onto Bedford and played him. Still, when McAdam is a dee and is kicking goals, paying that 2nd rounder that your club would have been unlikely to even use at this draft will be the furtherest thing from your minds

Bedford average .7 goals whereas McAdam average 1.7 goals this year and McAdam played all this games against the top 8 beside GCS who were there and about, both have similar goal involvements.Pick 24. are you absolutely delusional? You think McAdam is slow lol. Does Bedford has McAdam marking ability and kicking for goal, I still recall that goal he missed against Port Power in the Finals......
lol.. imagine you lure a player to leave his club and change states and you're too lousy to get a reasonable trade done?
Offer him the dream, more money, and extra year on his contract?
And then imagine Mark Williams tells Michelangelo Rucci the details behind the scenes of a possible trade and he goes public on his radio show and trash talks Adelaide before either club can talk to the media or make a press release.
Very unprofessional and disrespectful from Mark and by extension Melbourne.
What's wrong with Melbourne? That's a very amateur approach to trading in a player you clearly value.

Yep..i don't want him to go as ge is a point of difference inthe highest scoring forward line in the league and will be hard to find a direct replacement for
Yeah but that’s not how this works. He wants to leave. No ways crows are getting pick 24 from anyone for McAdam. But I get where you’re coming from in regards to the fact you believe he is a best 22 player and whoever you get at 24 doesn’t necessarily help you in next season or 2.

I wouldn't have thought McAdam is the piece to make a move up with - but it gives Adelaide the 'usable' piece it's after.
Feels a bit light for them still.
