Sheedy went out of his way to coax a retired Mal Michael to the club, causing an almighty shitfight with Brisbane in the process. Then there's been such players as Cupido and Murphy. And he kept an overweight Dean Rioli on the list, even though his commitment to the club was questionable.

rioli - he's kept plenty of white folk on the list well past their use by date as well. case in point mark bolton.

cupido and murphy - plenty of crappy trades over the last 5 years too. cases in point - m allan, r cole and mark alvey

mal michael - lets not forget he coaxed watson, salmon and (almost) mercuri out of retirement as well.
