That's not half a bad idea u know, is he still training at an elite level? Last I read he signed for Perth Demons, but if he was still somewhere near elite fitness and wanted to be signed for absolute peanuts on a short term contract, surely WCE or someone else could use him as contingency in mid-season draft.

They have to do an assignment on their favourite coach, so she wrote to the club asking if they had any information on Simmo's coaching philosophy and approach. Stoked to get an email back from the man himself last night answering her questions.

Woosh was Premiership captain and coach.

Simmo was premiership player for Nth Melb and club captain there for several years.

Simmo is fast becoming my Favourite Eagles coach.

Just out of interest, if you were not aware, he actually made his senior debut for Nth Melb against Eagles.

I posted that on the back of your comment, he just strikes me as the bloke that would do that.
Genuine, smart and honest.
No wonder the players have so much respect for him and play as they do for him.
