Is Dixon an automatic in for you guys once fit?

From what we've seen of him he should be, has surprising confidence and follow-up agility after the tap for a supplementary ruckman.
Has already shown more than Bailey Williams (although he is older). Personally I'd take him before Waterman too.

Even when Allen is back, well JK is gone by the end of this season so he may still have a permanent home.

Kinda crazy how 2 of our SSP players in Naish and Dixon already have cracked into the best 22.

Naitanui (knee) TBC looks like being a thing again, just like 2017 and 2019. This time with Allen TBC and Joyce TBC in support.

Also Sheed’s gone 5wks, 4wks, 3-4wks, 4wks for those playing at home. Like when you’re sitting in class waiting for the clock to hit 3pm.

It's crazy that most of our players look skinny fat .

At least if your skinny be lean and quick

Or if your fat be fat and powerful

Our guys look weak and tubby

No wonder they are always injured

That's a lot of leg injuries.

These hammies we keep racking up, what the hell are our conditioning people doing?

Players coming in and out of 7 day isolation who cant train for a week = hamstring issues.

This was predicted by many external commentators at the start of the season.

So you tell us, what can the conditioning people actually do to fix that? SFA. It is what it is.

I kept very fit in isolation, but didn't have COVID! Thats a cop out if players dont have COVID, players must take personal responsibility.

Come on mate. There is staying fit and staying AFL level fit.

23 of our players have had covid since the start of the season.

Did you go and play or train at an AFL level after isolating? How did your hammies pull up?

So the list released today has 14 names on it.
4 are listed as 'test'. Of the remaining 10, only 2 have a time frame. The rest are TBA/TBC/inactive.

Do we just have no idea? Or are we doing the old keeping the cards close to the chest trick?

And love the inadvertent pun from the AFL...
Ruckman Williams is touch and go for the round eight visit to Brisbane, potentially leaving the Eagles short in that department.

List on afl.com.au is probably them extrapolating/guessing. Official update from the club hasn’t come out yet. I’m keeping a close eye out because if it doesn’t say why Ledwards and Hough are out I’m going to go bonkers.

Ainsworth a chance?

Interesting they mention getting specialist opinions for Oneil and Langdon. Are we outsourcing our injuries now?

Langdon rolled an ankle, needs a specialist opinion. Bloody hell things are in shambles.

Anything to do with Langdon’s legs requires a specialist I reckon.

Finucane mentions LEdwards but then his name isn't even put on the list. Is there a page 2?

I'm actually getting worried for Edwards. Had groin injuries throughout 2021, then broke down during the Collingwood game, had a rest and now has more problems. He's heading down the Jarrod Cameron path (limping along the way).
