At his age the compo would have been rubbish. Personally I think he adds more to the squad than a draft pick in the 50s. Runner up b&f and the fact that it’s an impact injury would support this but each to their own.

Yeo was healthy for about 12 weeks when it mattered, got himself a juicy extension and West coast will carry that for three years.

Everyone knew this was coming.

So 12 weeks from now means he misses around one month of the season. Given his age and history I doubt he gets rushed back

Yeo is one of our most important players and one of the few that can take heat off Harley. He's vital for Reid's development.

He was a must keep player.

With Yeo’s injury I’d pivot to having him in defence when he returns, ease him back into it for at least a month.

Get Reubs or Baker ready to play midfield instead if necessary to cover until Yeo’s ready to resume in the middle.

I disagree, he's still a kid. He's not built like Reid where he could just walk into an AFL midfield as one of the main guys.

This is in reference to the Yeo injury i assume?

We turned pick 3 into Baker, Owies, Allen and Gross (and can add Graham who doesn't come without Baker imo)

We're in a much better position to cover for Yeo than if we had just taken Draper (who's struggling with back issues)

Honestly. And I think we all know it deep down.
This will most likely spiral due to his reliance on burst and power and the fact he does t know how to play at 80 percent to ease back in.

He won't play this year until at least after the bye and if he comes back will be underdone

I hope to be proven wrong but it's sad for him and the club.
We need to lower our expectation and consider him a bonus if he plays for any length of time again.
