Fantastic speaker, great training session, really nice guy. He and his mate Russell Gilbert stayed around til half 9 having a yak and signing autographs for the kids and not so little kids amongst the group.

The Oaks will be too strong for Lyndale. It looks like they were in front the whole day (except when it counted) against Heatherton which most people regard as the benchmark for Div 2.

On a side note, Highett are in a bit of trouble. I could see them missing finals. If my tips are correct, they will side outside the top 5 and will be half a game behind Caulfield, Oakleigh and Black Rock and they have a tough run home with Caulfield, Oakleigh, Beena and South Yarra. The loss to Lyndale and draw against Ashwood will really hurt them.

Ladies and gentlemen i declare Div2 a two horse race>> after watching yarra smash the heartless Beena i would say the other teams are making up numbers and lets not forget 5th is only a token spot.
Poor old kangaroos 50 goal loss
Ashwood blowing a lead at 3qt lead excuse the pun yet again its time to plan for next year with a new Coach i think he has taken this team as far as they can go.

Would the finals venue affect either side. Is the Springvale ground bigger than Mordi (much bigger than Clayton)? I'm not sure if the SFL has nominated finals grounds yet!

I would think the bigger the ground the better it will suit Sth yarra and heatherton they wont struggle small grounds wont bother either side as they have some hard players

I am not sure if they are missing him they still have the talent but Sth yarra are a bit more polished and have a gun CHF no 37 the kid can play and there midfield are very hard nosed so it will be an intresting contest

I think only Nevelle struggles he is not a Coaches boot lace lucky for him he is has good support
the rest go ok i still think they have a more even team and will do the Tunners.
maybe the tunners might give out some rough treatment and i am not talking king hits!!!!
I think some of the yarra boys might struugle if that happens
