It was on topic and if you bother posting the whole post you will see that.

Essendon do not need to get first round picks to trade well.

I would much prefer them to off load a couple of middle tier players who have failed to perform for some 3rd or 4th round picks.

We got Houli and Riemers following this method and this years draft should have a lot of depth.

I used an example of the approach i would liek to see the club take in this years trading period.

You took pot shots at our previous drafting and totally derailed the thread.

And i have notice you and other Pie supporters do the exact same thing to other Essendon threads in recent times.

Lloyd? No.
Lucas? Great player but is 30 yo and only has a few years left. No
Fletcher? Retiring soon.
Hille? No.
Stanton? Possibly top 10. Debatable.
Monfries?. Been disappointing. No

Really struggling with this one because obviously Knights won't want to give away a Paddy Ryder or Gumbleton because they are the future.
