At least most of the time when someone nominates something 's**t', they put some effort into it. They don't deserve a Sandler avatar for putting in effort, but unfortunately picking something people don't like. Someone phoning it in absolutely does deserve the Sandler avatar.
Disagree

The musical equivalent of "Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul" is not a classic tune from Radiohead or Tool.

Who else you got on your universal Billy shortlist? QotSA, Nirvana, Metallica, REM, The Cure, Midnight Oil, AC/DC, Queen, Sabbath, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Coltrane, Miles Davis, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Beethoven

Yeah, I'd hate to listen to any of their best tunes.

Billy: Surrender - maybe a bit harsh in hindsight but the male vocalist reminded me too much of Brian Molko.

Take this as a moral win seeing I slammed it last round.

Worst part about Bohemian Rhapsody coming out last year was that Queen would get played everywhere non-stop for several months.

I don't have anyone on the universal shortlist. Depends on the song and theme.

Great Woodstock doco on SBS at the moment.

I was Stateside when they had the 30 year reunion concert.

Decent line up.

Had the chance to go but knocked it back,

I only would've gone if The Church were headlining.

Also it was an over-hyped terribly made (so bad that it looked tv worthy) sinking ship that was saved by a great lead performance.
Rocketman on the other hand, which was made by the director who finished bohemian after Bryan "Pedo" Singer ran away, was awesome

I saw The Church headlining their own concert at The Belly Up tavern in San Diego back in 99.

They didn't play Under The Milky Way much to the disappointment of the Americans there who only knew that one song of theirs.

They played this song though, damn near blew the roof off the joint.
