not sure that indie music will ever have the hayday of that US college radio 15 years thru2000. Drag City, Oldham, Luna, Jews, Pavement, BuiltToSpill... matches best times in London/UK Manchester. Some good stuff from Flying Nun at Otago Uni in Dunedin 3 decades ago, very unnerrated[sic] imo. Malkmus actually heads up to DunedinSound and Sydney' punk ThoughtCriminals, he is a bit of a tarantinto like autistic archive.

MalkmusMalkmus[sic] also wearing my t-shirt and favourite band Rory Cooke's GR

Now Peter Thiel the Paypal founder and Venture Capital investor who was the first to seed capital to Zuckerberg and Facebook, he said the liiving cost in San Jose Palo Alto San Fran now prohibitive for startups when you need a grand a a week for rent. My analogy, the money in Sydney can constrain art, you wont have the same Brett Whitley blues and colours cos they wont be able to sustain a life there. Music wont get produced there, Bernard Keene on Crikey has been banging on the illiberal lock-out laws 36months back.

Richard Moffat the band-room booker at TimNortheast's Corner/PuntersClub/NorthcoteSocialClub had an interview on his former show on 3RRR show Incoming about 18 months after he vacated the seat, to talk about booking and even Melbourne changing, and how the market moved, in parallel with the real-estate market and parsimonious youth. Because that decade from about 92-2002, the Corner was about the best band-room on earth and could hustle anything in NYC LA Chicago or London. And my favourite place Punters went about 4km eastnortheast to the NSC, basically just Punters. Now Brunswick has hipsters and Proud Marys in Collingwood evo's fave coffee place.

London doesn't have a venue as good the Corner. Well not one I've found.

Hey all. My dad rock alarm just went off. What are we looking at?

Considered nomming the greatest album of all time, which also happens to just be one song.

Unfortunately I don't think the contest is ready for that yet.

That's right, I can't vote for mine own can I. Already tried that.
Call it a big weekend. Never touching Wild Boar again.

I haven't been able to drink gin since a big night over twenty years ago.

Debbie Harry is a legend and one of the greatest pop stars ever
I think shes decent without being remarkable.
One of my mates who is a sound engineer used to use one of her tracks for some technical shit all the time so I presume she is musically sound.

I agree 110% with what Drunkgoliath said about her looking like a comatose mullet tho.

In with something chock full of musical integrity. I would be shocked if I didn't get votes from SSwans2011

I couldn't be more full of integrity with this nom if I tried.
