unless there has been sum kind of miracle in the past 12 months,fristad is a hack that can't kick to save himself....all he can do is tag,you certainly don't want the ball in his hands if you are the doveton coach

if the doveton ruckman stopped wilkin from dominating,why was he still named best on? having not sen the game myself,sounds odd to me

I see Ramsdale was up at the tribunal tonight. Was he answering charges or was he on the end of one.
Will be interesting to see how "The Prince Of Darkness" (Tim Lambert) goes against his old side. He dead set sleeps with the light on. Was also interesting to hear that he was down at Skye Saturday night spruking that the better side had lost in the 2s. If that is true he is a goose. But it does run in the family.
Should be a good game in the 1sts at Wedge Rd Saturday. Who do people think will win?

Yeah saw that little incident between the 3.. Just a few jumper punches then it stopped then another MW player came over and the one that was involved before that jumped back in.. nothing serious.

I guess Ricky needs to get use to the fact that good sides are going to be double teaming him.

True in saying that though I think it helped them win the game as they had loose men through the middle .

Hampton seem to be the side to beat this year in 3rd Division. Can anyone beat them?

Well if nobody can beat them right at this very moment they never will, they have 11 1s players out so they are virtually playing with half the reserves side in, im quite amazed they havent dropped one yet with half the side out! mind you shows good depth. I would be tipping Mt Waverley this week who are virtually at full strength and at home. Im also tipping if the mounters cant win by 5 or more goals they are playing for 2nd.

From what I understand, watch out for 3-4 weeks of Cerberus realing flying. It happened last season for a few weeks and it will continue to happen, so long as their list has more than 150 players go through it.

Bad luck to Dandy but a good solid win by Cerberus (Would not of picked that margin). Hard to tell who the genuine contenders are this year. The top 4 maybe settled but there is no real standout leaders in my eyes, especially after the weekends results...

my hard earned is stil on hampton from what i hear they are missing at least 12 blokes who will be walk up starters in the 1s due to injuries and only just got done by mount. From what i hear the club has that many players unavailable that the 2s are struggling to field a full team

Yeh I have heard about these injuries too but are these blokes going to be back in time? Hampton only just beat Dandenong in Round 2 and Cerberus in Round 4. They would be my best bet at the moment too but if they are not back soon there could be an upset on the cards soon.

Half time speech of Dovetons coach was woeful. You shouldnt get ahead of yourselves. Also heard from a Doveton player that 2 players had an altercation in the change rooms after the game. Doesnt sound too good.
Who would everyones tip for the flag be at this stage of the year? Looks to be very close.

Cave was out, but Burnell and Batt still played. From what I hear they are their 3 best. Only 5 outs from last week according to SFL team lists, not 12. Unless all these blokes have been out all year? 6 goals is hardly "just" getting over the line.

Anyone comment on the Cerberus game? Rumours they had quite a few standouts playing their first game for the year?

After watching the game, it looked as though Doveton only played a Half also. Which I guess is why the result was so close. Both teams didnt look much. Especially Skye at their home ground.

Was in the Skye rooms and you could quite clearly hear it througn the flimsy partition wall. And about the alleged altercation, i can only go on what a Doveton player told me after the game as i wasnt in there. Seems like a strange thing for a "Senior Player" to make up.
