Looks like you were wrong here Dave G.

I reckon if you pile up all the worst football analysts that ever existed they still would not come close to the rubbish from this board, ably led by Bounceback.
watch me mate against EH we were sh t early just worked our way back into it , how inspired were the hills no run & a lack of ticker.

Has trendy offered a better analysis there Oblivious (although I think he meant Insipid not inspired LOL), surely you can see it through the smoke when your smoken the crispy. Nah in all seriousness I think Trendy is spot on and 7.20 remains fact. at 2 and 3 with a lot of traffic ahead it will be interesting to see if they can change it around or drop off like they did last year before round 9.

Do you have any factual analysis you would like to offer other than bagging posters?

No ticker? we had 27 scoring shots dominated the game. Bad kicking is bad football. Thats it. Simple as that. Retarted statements getting thrown around here. More teams in the comp then us. Surely there is more to talk about

I was there what would you like to know, cpl definitely turned up thinking it would be a walk in the park, how Barr got best on has got me beat, the ruckmen from South Yarra was dominant all day, number 30 from cpl with a squirrel grip on a South Yarra player was a low act ! Running his mouth all game!

Soooo your a sth yarra player?? U seem to be in the know more than what a supporter does...

A facts a fact most sides loving playing the Hills simple as that as you haven't earn't any respect in 5 years, you have been cellar dwellers since you've entered the comp you have a core group of players that have played in that side for years never been successful & never will, enjoy the bottom end of the ladder again.

May I ask which club you represent trendmaster?
I appreciate the feedback, honestly we really do but enjoy it while it last's mate.
We are in our 5th year champ, anyone else building it from the ground up in the SFL?? NO.....
We are NOT a new club that's been reformed
We are NOT a new club coming in from another league
Nor are we a club coming in under the wing of a super rules team (with money) or have a certain 'target' of demographic to recruit players giving us instant success
OR have we been given SFL 'discounts' on league fee's like other certain clubs......
So going by what I've seen around the SFL & considering how long these other clubs have been around, it's only a matter of time.
Plus a lot don't have aligned juniors haha yep, good luck keeping up with us!!!
Rome wasn't built in a day nor EHSFC but with our growth I say laugh at your peril!! another 3 men's teams again this year , 2 women's teams + a 19's forming next year I can't wait to see what the future holds down at the FALCONS!!!

Also cheers to Ashwood FC, always hang around for a beer afterwards & good bunch of blokes . Well done

Trendmaster, you are really unloading on the Hills and whilst I agree with your point here, maybe you should reign it in a bit. Let's have a look at some facts.

They beat Sandown and South Yarra early in the year, in which both clubs look to be travelling alright at the moment. South Yarra beat CPL, who I think we all agree are going to be there come September.

Albeit a bad last quarter from them, they pushed CPL all day and probably should have won that game. If they beat CPL, we'd all be talking about how far they've come and to look out.

They were outmatched for most the day by 2 players at Moorabbin, the worst ground for clubs to travel to and win.

Got beaten by Ashwood by 6 points, kicked poorly for the day and apparently the winning goal was off a 50m penalty which was justified. So they more then likely had there chances to win that also.

Realistically they had every chance to be 4 and 1, sitting 3rd. Eventually, this team is going to get it right and come out with a bang. So for you to come out and call them cellar dwellers is a little disrespectful to the people who work tirelessly to turn the club around and isn't giving them any credit for what they've done since 2013, coming off 0 wins.

Love to know what you are getting at here? CPL was a dead club for 20 years, hardly a couple of years down was it?

As for coming "under the wing" of the super rules team, they are completely separate football clubs, CPL wanted to amalgamate but was reneged on the proposal, there's more angst between the two clubs than "under the wing with money" as you are insinuating, CPL doesn't pay players, unlike EH.

As for the demographic to recruit players for certain success?

Lol what garbage is this? CPL's model is like most others (well not EH's apparently) to strengthen the side in anyway possible to progress through the grades, age is no detriment and most of CPL's best players are in their mid-late 20's, hardly pensioners. As for the demographic, well, we have junior sides from u9's-u/19's so I'm not sure we carry the same reservations about our "demographic issues". Maybe you should slacken your selection critera a bit, as young, doesn't necessarily mean good.

To insinuate CPL got anything on a platter is completely disrespectful to the guys that put in the hours to get it up and running.

How long have other clubs been stuck in div 3 for ? Probs a fair bit longer than what we have been. Really funny how you wanna have a crack at our club when other teams are heaps worse off than us. And for the respect side of it. Couldnt give 2 stuffs if anyone respects us.

Pyke ya fool lol You think that whole post was aimed at CPL ??? Get away from the mirror & look around the league ya twit.
Ill even tell which part was directed at CPL, yes the 'reformed' mark was in suggestion to CPL. No disrespect intended, powerful club & great facilities & support staff. But when you are there & get introduced to club legends, would suggest to me it has heritage. That's awesome, we'd love a rich history too but we don't, but please don't try tell me there was never any pull from when CPL was formed from past members/players etc
Best of luck to you guys for the rest of the year :)

Absolute garbage.

It's good to see endeavour hills having a crack ! We don't want clubs struggling, but on a serious note how does that Robbie guy get a game for you guys ??? Surely there is a kid you could put in before him?

Were you even at the game Pykie?

Talking to people who were there, Endeavour Hills look the better team for 3 quarters there.

Yes, I was playing in it.

You'd think for a side to be considered the better team for 3/4 qtrs they would of lead for more than once at any of the breaks? Football is played over 4 quarters, sure they had their moments early, but the margin was nearly 40 pts, to say they "should of" won is crap.

If I thought the whole post was aimed at CPL I would quoted the whole post.................the reason I only quoted 2 lines out of 12 is probably why I picked the only 2 lines relevant to CPL???? Ya fool.

Good luck to endeavour there spending some cash trying to make finals. Im sure if hallam dragons or dandy had of been 2-0 they would be up and about to

You harped on about 3 points ya fool & 2/3 weren't intended for you ya precious little cherub haha
What i will say about CPL is when blokes ask which league we are in they respond with 'is that league where the grannie got called off & was on the news.....'cheers for that ;)

The hills 2's gave our boys quite a touch up which shows the depth is there, having watched the way the reserves from hills I was quite worried at the strength of the ones. The seniors were outmatched by more than two players against us... We had plenty of contriubuters that game, however I felt hills had many senior players who weren't quite up to it, having said that there were plenty of reserves who could fill those positions so I think they are yet to field their best possible 22.
