Mark Stevens just tweeted expect to see more Covid curve balls as early as this afternoon.Could he be referring to our game tonight?We know Covid has devastated our women’s team,so could it be spreading to the men’s team as well?

I could have some real fun with this, but fear I may get booted from BF, so I'll just leave it alone.

Sticky hands, moves well and is very efficient with the footy. He's a receiver who has been asked to play a sacrificial role and launch in packs as the second tall forward for big chunks of the game when a ruckman or a tall forward is on the bench.

He is an attacking and thinking player who played well when given his freedom. But once reined in to a defensive role he lost his way. I reckon he'll be a different player this season. I'm hoping he will cement his best 22 spot.

Reckon we are a chance tonight based on their injuries and the tendency for round 1 to throw up funny results.

If we do bounce it will likely be on the back of our seniors improving a bit. Its probably more likely we will see Pendles, Howe, Roughy amd maybe even Sidey and Tay as players in decline. Grundy, Moore and JDG are really the ones most likely to give us a bounce.
