Jackson is a tagger. His main job is to shut someone out of the game. He's had 21 disposals at 3 quarter time, Montagna has had 15.

There's shutting people out of the game, which he has done well enough, then there's thuggary, which he has done as well. Could have sworn there were cries and moans on this very forum with players being dumped behind the ball so now you're saying it's ok near the interchange and the ball be damned then?

Wishy washy forum these days...

I agree, he can be a bit over the top at times.

Refer to my post above if you wanna whinge about me complaining about the umpires. I said I don't care if we get thumped (which we are) I just want it called down the line. Montagna has blood coming from his head but isn't called off but Jackson is? I mean, this is a joke. What's the record free kick difference?

I kind of understand where you're coming from, rightly or wrongly the umps seem to favour the stronger teams. Whether that's just down to them playing better or smarter I don't know. We were also on the wrong end of it when we were struggling too.

Having said that, it still hasn't affected the result today. Richmond just haven't been good enough after qtr time. You need to fix the problems with your team before you start blaming the umps.

...They haven't smashed Richmond since Rd 17 2006 where we won by a massive 103 pts. I don't expect to win this match so hugely, but I am hoping for a very good win by the boys. Eight to ten goals would be a nice margin...

St Kilda 13.14.92 def Richmond 5.6.36

Winning by 8 goals 8 points will do me nicely.

Saints faded late to allow Richmond some junk time scores. We kept them scoreless for 2 quarters and took the match completely out of their control.

Goddard was huge, as was Dal Santo, with Luke Ball, Sam Gilbert, Kosi, Lenny and Dawson doing very well and I liked the games of Gram and Geary.

Riewoldt and Montagna were mildly put off their games but both still contributed manfully.

The Tigers had few real contributors, Tuck was easily their best with Jackson, Riewoldt, the new guy Sylvester, and maybe Foley doing OK

There was a little bit of bad feeling from the Tiges, with Cotchin sniping behind play, Jackson going off and Moore losing it a few times too.
