I wish Nick all the best in retirement and thank him for the trickles of hope
when there was none around. I thank him too for for giving it a fair crack
after breaking his neck. He wasnt the same post injury, but he didnt totally
suck either. Had some great evasive skills and wasnt scared to go headfirst into
a pack, unfortunately causing his early demise. I enjoyed his contributions
immensely and wish nothing but good luck for the man in the future !

Agree that we have his spot covered, but bad form by those that
belittle....

No great loss when you think about it.

Missed quite a few games last season, played a couple of good ones but never had a standout patch where he strung a number of top games together.

Wasn't as committed to getting the best out of himself as he should have been, and made my blood boil in the interview where he reflected as being one of the Carlton blokes known around the traps as 'party boys'.

You get guys like Craig Bradley who have a lot of natural talent and decide to work their ass off to see just how much they can make of it, and then you get guys like Stevo who have a lot of natural talent and see it as something that can enable them to get through at a reasonable standard without ever having to push themselves as hard as they might.

We'll cover his absence pretty comfortably, and the young blokes will be better off for not having him around. Fev+Stevo+Cam out the door is a big plus in terms of the values/conscientiousness vibe at our club.
