1-21 now in away games against top 4 sides, since 2015. Nearly played exactly to the average losing margin of 41 as well.


0-4 in Hinkleys prelims, last 2 prelims both comprehensive smashings over by half time.

As a club 0-4 in away prelims, 56, 44, 36 point losses and 1 really brilliant 3 point loss. Just shows how near impossible it is to win an away prelim, yet we've coughed up 2 of our home ones.

How do you allow a team that many uncontested marks? It's absolutely insane. They chipped it around with absolute free reign.

I would say big decisions need to be made, but retiring guys like Boak and Dixon shouldn't be big decisions. We just don't know when to let go.

This club has sacked Ebert Cahill Motley club legends but we can’t tell Boak Dixon Jonas etc to piss off, absolute spineless organisation.

I was also really disappointed with our half backs.

We got very little run and drive from Evan’s, Jones, Sinn.

I know they did alot of defending but it’s a two way game and they didn’t do remotely enough.

An absolute drubbing, thinly disguised by them missing a bunch of gettable shots in the second half.

Pretty easy to do.

The amount of out the front clearances we got, especially from the centre for zero reward in the first half was just insane. We should've been a mile ahead. The bomb it in gameplan, and the total inability of our forward line to take marks, or even just lock the ball in was horrendous.

Then on rebound the inability to defend and the mistakes made when we recovered it were just diabolical.

It was a gameplan destruction.

Let's not pin this one on the players. They won it at the coal face, they followed instruction, and the instruction was disgusting.

The key to winning was to deny the Swans their short, uncontested game. We didn't.
We had to lower our eyes and hit up leading targets inside 50. We didn't.
We had to keep manic pressure all night. We didn't.
We had to minimise the impact of Heeney, Gulden and Warner. We didn't.

It was a coaching failure, plain and simple.
