When you are best on ground - highly experienced and the firsts are coming off a loss - it's pretty much a given.
Obviously Bigfooty Board (including me) would like to see some new pacey players coming in, but...
Might not be the worst call against the Crows tbh. It's going to be tough inside and Keiran might provide a bit of variety we need more of than Dawson.

Another one who is old and fairly meh now.

This is a bottom 6 side. Let’s get some speed and some run through half back. I’d also be playing Clarke and Rowbottom a bit through the middle.

Dawson is a very good and very penetrating kick, and that sort of kick is far more fast moving than any player who can run fast.

He was utter trash on Saturday, in fact he was by far the worst player, so fumbly. I must be seeing a different game don't rate him as highly as most

Leave him in the side. He is never going to get a chance to prove himself if he is dropped after one or two games, and he has shown a lot of promise.

He wasn’t good, but it was his sixth game. As I said, super tough on youngsters when the leaders aren’t doing their job.

Agree he was fumbly. He was by no means the worst. Melican was saved by Bully inaccuracy from giving away up to 10. It was a poor performance, but he'll improve as will Dawson.

Melican is saved by the fact we don't have a zillion defenders in reserve. We can replace Dawson types easier.

Rowbottom doesn’t need to be rushed in. Only change I’d make is maybe Ronke for Dawson but there’s an argument for giving Dawson a few consecutive games.
