The same post has us bringing in Hardwood, which sets up a great Mardi Gras reference if only they weren't so overplayed on this thread. :(
I laughed at the match preview on the Swans board specifically pleading with Sydney supporters to not take this thread seriously and embarrass themselves.

It was a glorious preview wasn't it? Highly accurate, insightful. tell Leppitsch he can call me for match up tips.

Of course he is you need merret down back and with mcguane injured Lisle is the logical choice.

As opposed to Jackson Paine or Michael Close who are also well in the mix?

McGuane's injury is news to me as well.

Who is Hardwood? ;)

Paine and Close are in the mix but Lisle is the best of them in my opinion. And it's pretty clear hardwood was autocorrected harwood, that I obviously missed.

Mcguane is more then out of form his injured you heard it here first.

Thread dead. Another victim of reasoned discussion while lesser threads roam free with wild abandonment

I would just like to remind all supporters going to the Gabba that the supporters code of conduct will be supervised vigilantly by the opposition players. Anyone making any form of remarks, noises or vibes that can be interpreted as offensive can expect to be escorted out of the stadium.
Please note the following:-
  • Lion supporters mimicking a lions roar will not be allowed while the players are on the field as it can be interpreted as... well many things roar, age will not be an excuse in this case - if your baby roar's as the result of crying, this will not be an excuse.
  • Facial hair is accepted in the ground, but you will need to have a signed statutory declaration which will make clear your intention or reason for having such a suggestive look.
  • Do not make direct eye contact or any sort of aberrant facial expression towards the opposition players for any prolonged period of time.
  • When the opposition receive an incorrect free kick, please use positive negative phrases, like "Better luck next time!" or "It's not your fault, mistakes do happen!". This will mean no player takes offense from the result of some green goblins mistaken interpretation.
  • Any form of reasonable or friendly yelling out, cheering or jeering, is to be done at your own risk.
Finally, I understand people enjoy yelling out, cheering and jeering during games, but I don't receive $800,000 a year (or $30,000 a fortnight) to cope with negative footy related suggestive comments from complete strangers who spend around 5% of their annual income (funny, this would be $40,000 if we used my income) to come any enjoy the footy. Fair is fair.

Cheers,

You jest. But I had a ground steward at the Richmond game tell us to tone it down because our "Liiiiooooonss" chant was too loud and too repetitive and was offending the Richmond supporters

Seriously ? Hope you got louder. My best friend's 40th this Saturday and I can't make the game because of a big party, typical Brisbane prick clashing with the game.

His contract stipulates there is much more to him than just kicking goals you know. Teh warmer of benches, Robe fitter, Waterbottle durability tester. The perfect human prototype. Half man, half machine with the largest hip pockets known to man in the AFL.

Was waiting for this to be bumped again :p honestly think even with Rich and Lberger out you guys are a very good chance at home of causing a upset we had some pretty sore and bruised lads last week.

Jack is playing under some serious duress honestly don't know how he is even out there with the state of his ribs.
Tippett if he plays would be seriously underdone coming off a knee and rib injury.
Franklin pretty obvious his knee needs to be managed through his career.
Mcveigh copped a knock to his calf.
Jetta Groin complaint.

So if you lock down Hanneberry and Kennedy and bring strong intensity you are every chance of a upset.

Just a tip mate, if you're going to post nice things about us you have to throw in a cheeky insult at the end ;).

Otherwise you'll be chased out of this thread faster than Lamb out of the Swans.

Haha ColaAcademy cheats Sydney we thrashed you Early this year, expect the same.

Sydney bringing in their big guns - Tippett and Buddy...Will be lucky to scrap a goal each.
