FWIW, here is FoxFooty's 'Team Tips':

Coming off their bye, the Swans only have one forced changed from their team that defeated Carlton in Round 11, with Luke Parker to miss through suspension. Dane Rampe could be eligible to return from injury, while Callum Mills is likely another few weeks off. The Swans’ VFL side also had a bye last weekend, but the likes of Dylan Stephens (34 touches, one goal) and Angus Sheldrick (34 disposals) had big showings in the twos the week prior and could also come into the senior selection frame.

And for St Kilda:
Also having its bye last weekend, St Kilda will need to replace Hunter Clark for the next several weeks following a knee injury in the club’s Round 11 loss to Hawthorn. If Mitch Owens is free to return from concussion, he’ll replace Clark, while Cooper Sharman, who was sub against the Hawks, Marcus Windhager (38 touches, one goal) and Jack Billings (24 disposals, one goal) had big games in the VFL a fortnight ago. Anthony Caminiti had a quiet outing against the Hawks to potentially be vulnerable at selection, but so did most of the St Kilda team.
Billings is out injured with hamstring injury

Least we might actually play Rowbottom where he should have been playing all season long
I think we could take a bit here and there from different views on Rowbottom. Unless there's an actual injury issue, set him free from any particular defensive responsibility. Heeney and Rowbottom to crash in, get the ball out to Warner and Gulden. Clarke if we need him to lock down on someone. Florent, Campbell can be in the mix since Rampe has a flow on effect on Fox being able to rebound more.

Assuming only a Parker > Rampe change.

I’d also be interested in throwing Paps in a bit more we don’t need him forward as much at the SCG.

Nah, with Heeney in the mids (it worked, do it again), I'd prefer we leave Paps up forward. You want the Saints smalls/mediums to be accountable on good players, rather than take our 2 best small/medium forwards out of there.

Amartey straight in surely

Back 7 - Melican, Francis, Rampe, Fox, Blakey, Lloyd, Cunningham
Fwd 7 - Franklin, Amartey, McLean (Ruck Mins), Papley, Hayward, Wicks, Clarke
Mid 7 - Warner, Gulden, Rowbottom, Heeney, McInerney, Campbell, Florent
Ruck - Hickey

In - Rampe, Amartey
Out - Parker, McAndrew
Thats starting to look better on paper, despite your weird Back-Fwd-Mid structure

Milestone games are like toasties, grand finals & The King! declaring “we’ll p*ss it in” all rolled into one.

Namely: bad karma.

Buddy knows it - which is why he’s refusing media interviews about it.
Not for Bud, he goes Ok in them … particularly given they all seem to be against the Aints.

We always seem to run with 7 guys who rotate down back with one of the bench spots.

Seemed easier to separate it that way rather than actually picking bench players as TOG is usually levelled out most weeks.
Agree. 7/7/7 plus main ruck.
Alternative is backs 7, forwards 6, mids 8 with a couple spending time forward.

Amerty is also available

Long layoff think they may err on the side of caution and it makes me nervous bringing blokes off soft tissue injuries back in a night game straight up

Fair though I feel we can cover a FWD more. Wouldn’t mind him 20% in the middle this week.
