It shits me how Medhurst is being played at the moment, he is given five minute spells as a small forward to kick two goals or he is taken off. He got 27 touches playing up the ground for Willy yet he isn't given a go for us.

Yeah I thought with us playing Carlton and Pendles and O'Bree out a spell on the wing or even in the centre now and again couldn't have hurt.

Guys, we won't drop Lonie. He could be very good for us in the finals, he will get better. I guarantee it.

Gee, Josh Fraser has been horrible for three weeks in a row. Got beaten by D.Hille, then J.Charman, and only slightly got the better of the worst ruckman in the competition, C.Hackland. Guy Richards is an automatic inclusion next week IMO.

The fact he only had 76% time on ground in a game where he was the only ruckman shows he is struggling for fitness at times. Still I would put him in our best just for some of his tapwork yesterday.

Johnson was good against Carlton, good outside midfielders game, plenty of inside 50s and score assists.

In: BUCKLEY

Out: Medhurst

Buckley in for too reasons:

1. I'll be at the Richmond game.

2. He could play for Williamstown next week and do his hammy again. At least if he came into the seniors and did it he could go out with a last game of AFL football, provided we win. If he does not play AFl by two weeks time I'll be very, very worryed... :(

In: Buckley, Obree, Bryan, Iles
Out: Cox, Goldsack, Medhurst, Lonie

Give Goldsack a week off for a bit of rest. Has played alot of senior footy his young body could be feeling it...

Iles needs to prove he can play consistantly at AFL level and this is where he should be doing it..... against the bottom team....

Bring bucks in.. If he tears his hammy.. let him do it in the AFL where he should be aloud a goodbye!

Bryan in support fraser... and can go forward.....

Need obee back to get the clearences happening..

LETS SMASH THEM BY 100 and get a bit more % for top 4 finish!:thumbsu:

for some reason i feel us losing this

We wil be a threat to you. We are frankly dreadful at the moment but once off against the Pies going for the 4 we'd love a result and say what you like about the Tigers we are not a tanking team. I honestly think we will turn up both on and off the park much more than the Blues did and whilst you are faves we won't tank or lie down.

It'll be a good one as Tiges V Pies usually are. I expect at least 60,000 to turn up.

is Ryan Lonie allergic to Heath Scotland?

sure seemed like it for 3qtrs today until Tarks stopped him in the last

IN: O'Bree and Iles
Out: Lonie and Medhurst

Shannon Cox should be tried as a mobile ruckman, he was briefly vs the saints until he hurt his ankle

Lonie is allergic to a contest and body contact

if you turn up more than the blues, you'll spank us with the kind of form we are in.

Dont know about that 1 every1 seems to come good agoint the pies and i bet a guy called N.Brown from richmond destroys us and foley will get 50 Possies
I don't recall us having played Harry on him before, and I know he hasn't faced the Sack before.

Have no idea why Richards would come in.
Bring in Bryan, he needs to be rewarded for good form in the VFL. Gets a lot of the ball when he is there. Is a lot more stronger than richards. Thats what we need a bit of toughness in the ruck.

And play Medhurst up the ground, we have didak, davis rocca and cloke down there. We dont need him down there. Get him on a wing or a forward flanker playin up the ground, we need more toughness around the stoppages.

In: C.Bryan, S.O'Bree
Out: Cox (omitted), Goldsack (rest, he needs it)

I think Bryan might possibly deserve another shot. He doesn't seem to be a great tap ruckman though looking at his previous AFL level stats. Although he has a booming kick and can produce goals which is handy.

In the Collingwood/Carlton game Mick did try play Meddy a little more up the ground. I noticed was running off half forward in the second half but Mick was constantly running him on and off the bench which didn't really give him a good chance at the ball.

Clement does fine against him if you exclude that 4/5 goal quarter from a year or two ago.
If I could exclude it from my memory, I would.

4/5 goals in a quarter would lose us the match... again.
