Teams Round 4 Vs St Kilda

I'd like to see Palmer get some more runs on the board in the wafl before he comes back. The Richmond game would be a good one to ease him back into the tempo of AFL football.

Pearce for mine. He will slip under the guard and bob up with a couple of goals.

Maybe Harvey will play a team of runners, with neither Dodd, Tarrant or Silvagni getting a game. That would be interesting.

For mine it has to be:

Dodd out Tarrant in
Suban out Pearce in

Dodd only came into the side with tarrant out so with tarrant back in dodd goes out. And Pearce is close to a suban type player so easy swap there.

Awesome no Dodd.

We have a good chance in this one, look at their interchange - not that great to me - ours looks better :D

As most people predicted. I wonder who travelled as the emergencies ? You would think that Rhys Palmer would be left in Perth to play with East Fremantle. Dylan Roberton may get a trip home and Doddy will probably go as the real emergency.

Must of read our minds, boys are on fire at the selection table !!!!!:)

Good decision to leave Palmer for another week would prefer him to play his come back game at Subiaco against Richmond rather then at Etihad against the Saints. Pearce deserves the call up has shown very good form in the WAFL I love the fact Dodd was dropped it shows we wont tolerate poor performances from senior players.

I think the selectors might be reading our threads before selection meeting each week :p

But seriously they have been spot on so far this season.

Pretty much what was expected really.

Can't help but think that some people are being a tad harsh on Dodd though. He didn't do much wrong last week in his first game for the year, and offered plenty of versatility. Hopefully it wont be too long until Dodd gets to play his 100th game.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't think Dodd was that bad once he got to the speed of the game. He finished the game strongly ... doesn't deserve to be in the team though. The changes are spot on IMHO.

Also, ISTR Pearce played Etihad quite well last year in a game or two there ... not sure about that one, but look fwd to seeing him run around anyway.

Same with most people here I'm stoked with the changes, I didn't think Dodd was great last week but first game back it wasn't a shocker either, but of the two I think Pearce has a lot better chance of being a better player come round 22 and the more game time the better for that. Of course Tarrant being back is a big plus.

Happy with that. Palmer is a smokey then...;)

DeBoer will make way for Palmer. Even a half done Palmer will output more I would think. Just as likely to do his knee again in AFL as WAFL. Use him as a bench player like DeBoer was.

Congrats to my buddy Clancee Pearce for being upgraded and being picked for his first game of 2010. He'll have to put in a good performance if he wants to hold his spot in this 22 though. Good opportunity for him. :thumbsu:
