Cool story, bro

This is from a recent post of mine (2136). Check the language I used.

I assume the #1 club
The AFL also may be
and potentially the clubs
what happens if?
they potentially don't want to
As for Saints, I assume
Let's say it's
there's absolutely no guarantee
I don't think
And I don't think we should

There's nothing about that that's assertive. But there are other posts where I am. You know why? Because in some instances, I'm sure. You act like every post I make that I'm sure about everything I say, and that I imply I have some sort of diving knowledge. That's just not true. What is true, is that you have come to an internet forum and got offended at some random person's opinion that you don't agree with.
Not offended at all - just calling you out on posts where you make out as if you know, rock solid. This is the most fluid draft order I can recall in recent times and the fact that you still think you 100% correct says a lot about your approach.

Enough on this matter. As a matter of fact, I like robust debate and differing views. The only thing I am sure about is that there will be surprises in the top 6 order. That is why St Kilda at 7 and 8 is so interesting

All you had to say was, "I read that Dees were keen on Tauru at #5". I'd never see that before, and tbh, it surprises me. Let's move on.

The issue with Essendon and trade partners is to buy and sell in the same market.

I am certain Essendon could get better options for 28 and 31 than what eaglevision and I have been proposing. The problem is there are few who can trade a better pick (26) without the Dons paying a huge premium. It could even require them giving up one of their 2 x F1.

That might be fine if they do a deal with Tigers, Sydney or GWS but they will all be late teen to 20’s picks.

I proposed it on the Drug Rats board and a couple responded that our buying price was too low but they were ok with the selling price. Their more astute posters (and they do have some) realised the benefit and thought the deal had credibility

At the Kako bid - WC F2 and WC F3 for 28 and 31
Post Kako bid - 26 for Ess F2
Asterix can you help me out or Keys or Anyone please.
So i really like the Essendon trade off for points and our pick 26 ultimately. I'm just not sure how "Nuts and Bolts" it actually works.

So Pick 12 comes along and the bid is put on Kako. It's now up to Essendon to match. I've never then seen(a club) Essendon having another choice to trade with us and then match the bid. Can it actually happen like this.

Interesting. The Eagles don't usually give anything away. I doubt they're telling 17 other clubs who their target is. Unless they want him at 12. "Hey everybody, we think he's a 2nd rounder, don't be taking him top 11, because he's not that good". Or the journo rang up the club and someone said, "sure, he looks pretty good", and they turned it into an article.
Until that dunce Clarke showed up

Can’t wait for Clarke to try draft Liam Baker at pick 12 on draft night
