Amazing vision seeing the old players who won the premiership in 1954 watching the Grand Final in colour vision with the current day players.

Absolutely spectacular television. One of the best things I have seen.

I just realised how much this club means to me ... I teared up massively.

LET'S GO DOGS!!

Just for all the bulldogs supporters who went to the game and missed the television coverage.

I know you won't be keen on seeing a replay but IMO you would really love the pre match coverage where the premiership players from 1954 and the current players meet and watch the 54 premiership together. Normally I am not a fan of the pre match stuff on 7 and 10 and think it is over the top, but this was really really worthwhile and as doggies supporters you would love to see it, trust me.

I am not sure if it will be repeated or will be on youtube but I thoroughly recommend it. I found it really moving.

I went to the game but also taped the game. I came home and watched clip about the re union of the 54 team with the current players and it brought me to tears. How can that not inspire this group of players. Makes you wonder what a Premiership would do to that club and the community. If you dont get emotional watching that clip then you have no heart.

Teared up  Was painful to watch as a neutral spectator was ridiculously manufactured. The fact the Bulldogs came out playing like they did speaks volumes.

Get nicked. You have no idea about our history or what it's like to be a Bulldogs supporter.

Oh, good luck with your team [whenever the hell they finally play a game].

I think you are being overly harsh. Like I said, I usually don't like the pre game stuff that the television stations do, but having all the old premiership players meeting the current players was a fantastic touch. I found it moving even if "neutral" supporters didn't. :)

I have the recording on my hard drive, I think?
I was about to delete it because of the pain the game caused. But I can edit out that bit and have a go to upload to youtube if someone else can't do it.

Did you do it?

Just saw it then.
Brilliant.
Will be on YouTube tomorrow :)
I saw it before the game, taped it (videotape), and hoped someone would put it on YouTube. All Doggies fans should see it. Others can please themselves, but keep quiet if you don't mind. We're not interested in your opinion.

I shed a tear watching it, and then along came Leon's Let Rip posts and blow me down, the tears started again. It's been a wet week, would like it to end with a smile. :)

i loved it too

sorry if someone has answered this, but i read that there is 30 minutes of footage of the dogs 1954 GF in colour

anyone know how i can get a copy of it...

cheers
