There are only two other blokes with 200+ wickets that have a better strike rate than him. Cummins (future HOF) and Steyn, who is probably the best quick since the turn of the century

Even if we look solely at day matches the designation as all rounder is harsh.

Sharma and Zaheer Khan both have 311 @32. Southee 391 @30. Etc etc.

He has frustrated with his erratic nature and proclivity to bowling pies but can't argue he's had a very good career and been a very solid contributor.

18 off that Bumrah over is the most he’s conceded yet so far in his Test career. Done by a teenager on debut, when Bumrah has had his teammates on toast for the series so far otherwise. Absolutely wild.

It’s only the first session yes, however I’ve got that feeling that it’s already match winning in terms of the momentum it generated.

Dumping McSweeney who looked lost as an opener and Usman has looked good this innings. Was always the correct decision.

McSweeney had barely opened in his career, he was on a hiding to nothing.

Not saying they should've dropped Khawaja but the only chance it would work was if he was paired with a more aggressive partner to take pressure off him. What can I say, Konstas on debut looks good but he's no Ashton Agar at Trent Bridge.
