Nice, $44 for a four pack. About what I expected considering the alcohol by volume percentage.

Anyone got any recommendations for West Australian Hazy's? I'm putting a 6-pack together for a mate visiting from overseas, he's had most of the ones that have been around for a while so they would need to be newish (last 2-3 years) or random. So far i'm thinking;
Otherside Hazy Double
Eagle Bay Hop Punch Hazy
Rocky Ride Ctrl C/Ctrl V
Wilson Siren Song Hazy

I had one of these the other week and thought it was great. Think I got it from Leederville Liquor Barons.

Highly recommend their NEIPA if you can find it.

View attachment 1464690Thanks for the tip, great beer. Super juicy and well priced.
Had this today. Thought it was sensational for the price!

Also tucked into a couple from Innate. Baby juice. Light sessionable hazy. Bloody good for 3.8%

The other was their collab with Mane Liquor. Huge west coast ipa. ****in huge. Like real bitter. I like a bitter west coast so really enjoyed but can see it being too full on for some. Was a big whack

You cant beat swanny d's or VB from the tap.

These w***ery IPA's can * off

Well you actually can beat them, really easily, they’re both trash compared to what you can get on tap these days. Feel like people are trying to be cool with all this “yeah I smash swanny D cause I’m the ultimate Aussie” why waste your time with crap watery beer when you can have something with a bit of depth and flavour that still tastes like a beer.

Purchased off your review. Bit of booze warmth on the first sip but I did jump in off a few Easy Hazys. She's a bit of a ball tearer but I miss that. Everything now is bitter free, lactose dialled.. Love a good West Coast IPA.

Joel is moving on from Innate so it'll be interesting to see how they go. I rate him very highly. They don't release bad beers, and if you saw the kit he was brewing on you'd be staggered. Some home brewers have better set ups.

Keep an eye on New State Brewing.

Yeah aggressive little bugger which was a refreshing change from all the fruit juice hazys lately.

Oh yeah is that the thing with Big Don? To say I’m excited is an understatement…. Outrageous meat and great beer. Not many places you can get that in WA!

I have a Swan occasionally, just for nostalgic reasons, when I first started wasting my money on alcohol it was the only beer available, ordering a beer amounted stating if you wanted a middie or a glass (pints weren't a thing).
Much prefer the variety available today but had plenty of good times drinking Swannie D.

I don’t mind Swan Draught as an easy session beer when at a pub and it’s on tap but I’d be loathe to buy a carton of it for consumption at home.

In the late 1990s it was all about Emu Bitter. Shudder to think how much I drank between long necks at house parties as a 16 year old, $6 jugs on Thursday nights at the Zanzibar and out of glass pints in the OG beer garden at the Cott on Sunday arvos.

Of course the rise of the meathead and increase in glassings saw the pint glass at the back of The Cott go the way of the dodo and be replaced by the far inferior plastic pint.
