I don't think I've ever heard a single celebrated so hard by a crowd.

They seriously love their Cricket. Virat Kohli is a gun, Definitely my favourite player outside of Australia.

de Villiers > Kohli, but he's still awesome to watch, love the way he goes about it (no Luke Darcy).

Yep, Both super players.

Weather change on the way too, hopefully no rain. I want to see Virat tee off.

if you ever want to rev the indians up scream out something like Ponting is better than Tendulkar, next you will have 4 indians in your face arguing their case in why they think you are wrong

I'm going for pakistan purely due to the utter rubbish I've seen from indian trolls on various subjects on the interwebz over the last few years... they make some of the uber flogs on here look like mary poppins

I think the meme in this post on the main cricket board is tailor made for this thread.

F*** I hope the Irish make the quarters.
They're in the group where it is most possible. They need to win they're game vs Zimbabwe I feel as they could very well be fighting it out with Zim and WI for 4th.

Indeed, there's also Pakistan too, who knows what they'll dish up, it's often dependent on the odds.

Ireland should win this easily.

Wouldn't be surprised if Zimbabwe beats the Windies too, they're a rabble at the moment.
When's the last time they weren't a rabble... disgraceful how fnuckered they've become, the west indies cricket head honcho's should all be hung from a coconut tree.

It's not just their administrators though, players chase IPL and BBL dollars at the expense of playing. It's one of the more complex situations in cricket, and there doesn't appear to be an obvious answer.

As for when they weren't a rabble, probably back pre 2000 when we rolled them 5-0 in a test series, and did it easy.

The 70's and 80's were their heyday. They kicked on with an aging Ambrose/Walsh/Rich Richardson/Gordon Greenidge/Gus Logie into the early 90's then they were done. It was Lara and the rest after then.
