wont crap on, so for me Cloke simply ISN'T good enough, can't wait to see the back of him. Worried that Stevens and Cloke had words (yeah it seemed he smooth it over later) There's about 3-6 players in the entire AFL who can kick from 60+ and he definitely isn't one of them - only a smart player knows there limitations!!

I wholeheartedly endorse senior players reinforcing the game plan when the game is there to be won, don't get me wrong. We all blasted Fev when he did something similar in season 2007 vs Freo at Subi oval. But when the sting is gone from the game and the opposition are ready to have the fork stuck in them, I don't think it's a bad thing to be a little selfish. Would anyone be complaining if Cloke put the shot through for a 9 pointer? No...

In the microcosm of the game, Stevo's rant was pointless.

The reason the rant was needed is that team rules need to be followed all season.
No mercy or selfish football when in front.
No taking the foot off the pedal, and having your teammates know at all times where to go on the basis that the game plan is followed.

Goal assists to be valued at least as high as goals
