I hope so but the last few times he was available he chose not to play, wouldn't surprise me if he took a break from it all for a few weeks.
Who else is a stand out option other than McSweeney?
Webster has earnt his place. He'll be keeping it warm till Cam Green returns so no stress.

I don't know what kind of stream I slipped into on Twitter but it's been nothing but feral Indians since the end of the Boxing Day test. It's insane how seriously they take losing in cricket. It's like hitting the South Australian algorithm after a Showdown x1000000

Just thinking re:Connolly. I feel like it is a real shame he bowls spin.
Webster is obviously a stopgap but the all rounder spot needs to be a seam up bowler for the vast majority of our cricket. I feel like this is really painting Connolly into the corner of having to be a top 5 bat to get a look in at test level.
I feel like he will ultimately give away the tweaking to try and get to the top level, which is a shame. I think he is decently talented with the ball.

My nephew is 14, which is way younger than Webster. Surprised he didn't get a look in to be honest considering his age.
He bowls right-arm backspinners (mostly wide) which might have contributed to his non-selection.
