He's damn good, but two points I would make -
1. He's not particularly economical. That's fine if you are after a wicket-taking strike spinner, but not if you need a bowler to held up an end for 25 overs.
2. He's highly specialised for the WACA. He uses bounce very very well. Take him to the subcontinent and let's see how he goes on low slow turners.
Not sure about that. Corey spent 15 days at a specialist spin camp in India in 2022 before our summer. Seems to coincide with him taking a big step forward in his development. Maybe he will kill it over there?
He's taken 8x4 wicket hauls in 44 FC innings. That's almost 1 in 5 innings he is having a big say.
Not quite 27yo. Not quite a baby as spinners go but still in his development adolescence IMO.
