HE has essentially opened with the 2 quackers falling very early. Has shown great ability to defend and leave on what appears to be a tricky pitch (evidenced by the number of caught behinds).
He is probably the front runner at this stage IMO.

Fair point. Hunt has been a good opener at times but was pretty bad last year, and SA’s other opener(s) (Conor McInerney?) have been dreadful. So you’re right, he has been in early quite a bit.

Hard to do a worse job as nightwatchman than getting out first ball and also wasting a review. I guess maybe if you somehow managed to bbq the other batsman in a run out, that’d be worse.
