In terms of overall talent level the BBL is probably second only to the IPL. Based purely on the fact that Australia is one of the top 2-3 cricketing nations whereas other high-profile, big-money leagues like the CPL and the leagues in the US and UAE have excellent overseas contingents, but the overall level of the play is lowered by the requirement of certain numbers of domestic cricketers, all of which are worse than the average Australian playing in the BBL.
