Again, even if Biden went to the convention with the delegates backing him, Harris could stand up at the convention and challenge him and the delegates would be entitled to select her over him. It's not undemocratic it's literally how their system works.

Biden won the Democrat primaries process by a landslide with delegate voting as recently as 8 June 2024. His health hasn't deteriorated significantly in 6 weeks. As Vivek said a couple of years ago, it was never the senior Democrats intention to have Biden as their candidate. But maybe they thought they would run with it and see what happened. Either way, Biden's position as elected presidential candidate was terminated when it was obvious they were going to lose.

Agree. Trump is running for POTUS, in a country where he holds the minority view - on abortion, gun control, climate change. He has no policies for the future, hence why he continuously harps back to the past.

As for Harris, independent voters tend to have a negative impression of her borne from not seeing much of her and not knowing what she does. Impressions can change.
