Why do I need to challenge him when we have a thread full of white knights doing that?

Being part of circle jerks isn't my thing sorry.

You don't challenge anything Harris says but nobody cries to you over that.

Private hospitals are indeed so much better. Shit on public ones. It's why I pay for my own health insurance.

No year long waiting lists, great food.

Can't trust the Government to provide a decent service.
Isn't it exhausting being perpetually angry?

I mean you don't need to challenge him, but it would make you look less bias. I also haven't challenged either candidate because I'm not American. I just laugh at Trump for being so deranged to think that Haitians are eating cats and dogs.

I never said I didn't have a bias. I have a bias until the corrupt shit lord Gary Gensler is gone.

This is entirely dependent on what you are going for. Private Hospitals don't do A&E, they also might not treat whatever you need treating so you just end up in the public system anyway. You can pay a lot of money to a bunch of con artists as you say who just take your money and bathe in it.

Private hospitals do have A&E. They also have specialists galore.

My local Epworth has an Emergency Department. Used it several times. Waiting time was next to nothing compared to sitting in the public hospital version for half a day.

Again with your hatred of a guy because he stopped your Ponzi scheme crypto and nfts. A lot of hatred and abuse, you should see someone about it.

Maybe at your private hospital in the A&E with a specialist. You also might want to check you figures on how many have A&E because it's not common.

You obviously don't know that the Democrats themselves are internally in conflict over the issue.

Admit you don't know what you're talking about?

You said private hospitals don't do A&E though.

Another example of not knowing what you're talking about.

I think what’s truly funny is you don’t see how serious a problem Trump is. The fact he’s a convicted felon and caused an insurrection amongst other things. And here you are focused on Gensler. Laughable

Also thank god for our health over the US health system. It helps people who can’t afford private health.

Ah yes this serious problem.

Yes I remember in 2016 all the peanuts decrying the world was coming to an an end if Trump was elected.

Sweet FA happened. That's what's laughable.

The Democrats love felons though don't you know?

Or did you forget about the efforts they have put in so that felons can vote?

Yeah he nearly caused an insurrection which you continually ignore. The four years was a shambles. Most of the world disagrees with you. The classic fanboy accusing other of being fanboys …that’s truly laughable. Anyway I’m off to hunt some cats for breakfast

Nearly caused an insurrection...

Never even came one second close to being any kind of insurrection.

Where was the army to over throw the Government? Oh that's right, there wasn't any.

I love those chicken little hot takes 🤣

Remember in 1996 when the Unions did the same thing at our Parliament?

Same shit. Bunch of clowns storm a government building shouting and breaking some stuff and at no time was the Government in any danger of being over thrown.

What? Are you serious? They couldn’t get the a White House to make the call to get in the National Guard who did arrive btw.

Select Committee found Trump falsely claimed to ask for NG troops the days before Ana that Pelosi rejected it. But they found more likely Trump wanted them to protect his supporters

SC also found …

“The Select committee stated VP that Mike Pence withstood an intense pressure campaign from Trump and his allies to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Trump’s advisers repeatedly tried to persuade Pence to disrupt the congressional certification of Joe Biden’s victory on January 6, even after they themselves acknowledged that there was no constitutional basis for the vice-president to do so.

Pence ultimately refused to interfere with the certification process, despite facing threats to his personal safety from Trump’s supporters who stormed the Capitol. But if Pence had acquiesced to Trump’s demands, the US could have faced an unprecedented constitutional crisis, the committee warned on Thursday.”

Unconstitutional actions …and yet you still deny. Laughable

So the NG who would do absolutely nothing to over throw the Government.

I deny that the US Government was any chance of being overthrown.

Only the chicken shits think that.

That's why it's hilarious.

I dunno, maybe I don't scare as easily as the people who jump at shadows.

Would you say this is a fair overview of that day?

"[T]his group refused to accept police direction, forced a breach in police lines and ran towards the main front entrance of the Capitol Buildings. Unfortunately, it was apparent that some of these demonstrators were affected by alcohol. This group was supported by participants from the more general demonstration who were incited to join those involved in riotous conduct by a speaker from the official platform."

Watching people get triggered by Trump is funny as all ****.

How could anyone be angry with that kind of entertainment abound.

I think you're reading words on a screen and applying your own emotions to them.
Your words and tone of your posts don't strike me as someone who is sitting there with an enormous smile on their face.

I'd say a few others here would agree with that sentiment too.

People died that day. Trump was the main instigator of people taking the action to violently enter a democratic institution. Anyone giving him any kind of support need to take a very hard look at themselves. No the government was not going to be overthrown, but it was a violent assault on democracy.

I don't read your posts with any kind of tone.

My tone FYI is more akin to a piss taking country person.

Plenty of pearl clutchers on here to pull the piss out of.

One idiot got shot.

No it was far more serious..

Thompson’s warning was echoed by Michael Luttig, a retired federal judge who served as an adviser to Pence in the weeks after the 2020 election. Luttig argued that, if Pence had tried to overturn the results of the election, that effort would have threatened the very foundation of American democracy.
“That declaration of Donald Trump as the next president would have plunged America into what I believe would have been tantamount to a revolution within a constitutional crisis,” Luttig said.
The Trump team’s legal efforts to overturn the election results were spearheaded by conservative lawyer John Eastman, the committee heard Thursday. Eastman tried to convince Pence and his advisors that the vice-president had the authority, under the Electoral Count Act of 1887, to reject the results. Luttig summarily rejected that theory on Thursday, joining a loud chorus of constitutional experts who had already dismissed Eastman’s idea.
“There was no basis in the Constitution or laws of the United States, at all, for the theory espoused by Mr Eastman. At all. None,” Luttig said. He added, “I would have laid my body across the road before I would have let the vice-president overturn the 2020 presidential election on the basis of that historical precedent.”
According to Pence’s former counsel, Greg Jacob, even Eastman himself acknowledged that such a strategy would not withstand legal scrutiny. Eastman told Jacob that he believed the supreme court would reject the theory in a unanimous vote of 9 to 0.

And yet, Trump and his allies continued to pursue their unconstitutional strategy. The committee shared new footage Thursday showing January 6 insurrectionists threatening the vice-president for refusing to block the certification, as rioters chanted, “Hang Mike Pence!”
Instead of offering support to his endangered vice-president, Trump escalated his pressure on Pence. At 2.24pm, Trump tweeted, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our country and our Constitution, giving states a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”

Tried in court and failed. The system works.

You do realise that both the Democrats and the GOP are often taking others to court to have them removed from the political process?

Sometimes they actually succeed.

Why don't the people who are so concerned about Democracy seem to care about that?

Were they cases as serious as Jan 6? Doubt it and you know that. I get it ..you’re not a Trump fan ..and pigs fly.

Has nothing to with being a fan of Trump.

Has to do with I'm not going to piss my pants over something that was never going to happen.

So you don't get it. You don't even get how to use the ellipsis points correctly.

So Trump says no more debates. For me, I think this is a good thing for Harris as I think she achieved pretty much everything she could from the last debate. And I don't know that she had much to gain from another one. Even if she wiped the floor with him again.

For Trump it tells me one of two things. Either the decision was Trumps, and he genuinely believes he won the debate. Or the decision was his campaigns and they've given up any prospect of him putting in coherent, effective performance.

If they thought there was any chance he'd win a second debate with Harris they would have jumped at it.

Going to be a dad again, another little girl on the way. Been rough going between a failed (IVF) transfer and a miscarriage but we got there in the end.
Congrats
