Playoff scenarios are simple

Loss and Colts loss to Jaguars and in

Loss and Titans lose out and in

They kinda do need to win next week though don’t they? If the Bills win out and Steelers lose they won’t get a first round bye yeah?

Only the no 1 seed gets the bye.

NFL expanded the playoffs from 6 to 7 teams per Conference. The No 2 seed no longer gets the first week bye.

Two games with big ramifications:

Arizona Cardinals vs LA Rams
Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears

If Arizona win & Bears win - Rams out

If Arizona win & Bears lose - Bears out

If Arizona lose & Bears lose - Arizona out

If Arizona lose & Bears win - Arizona out

Cardinals game might get shifted to the late game though? If Chicago lose Rams will know they're in and may rest starters...?

Bills hold tiebreaker and this year only 1 seed gets a bye (KC). Added an extra wildcard so 2-7, 3-6, 4-5

I think you are right. Only other possibility is Browns-Pittspuke but they cried all year to rest so am assuming they will take their “bye” this week

How about those dolphins. Do we have to win against the Bills to make the playoffs?

AFC clinching scenarios for Week 17

Titans: Win OR Baltimore loss OR Indianapolis loss OR Miami loss.

Dolphins: Win OR Baltimore loss OR Cleveland loss OR Indianapolis loss.

Ravens: Win OR Cleveland loss OR Indianapolis loss

Browns: Win OR Indianapolis loss OR Tennessee loss plus Baltimore win plus Indianapolis win plus Miami win

Colts: Win AND one of the following: Tennessee loss/Baltimore loss/Cleveland loss/Miami loss

Thanks, so any one of four things will put us in the play-offs. What could go wrong :)

Anyone see this? Upstairs told Bill B to challenge a catch near the sideline. Onfield decision stood, wasn't even close. This was the follow up conversation:

At half time they asked Bill How do you think you can get your pass game going?

"Catch the ball"

May need this

Leaving Kevin Stefanski and Gregg Williams out Bill is scarily the winningest coach the Browns have had in 30 years
