To add onto that theme, you could suggest that the 4 main characters of The Wizard of Oz represent different components of $kirt:

-Dorothy: Wants to go home (or at least close to home)
-Tinman: Lacks a heart (His actions as a whole)
-Lion: Lacks courage (Friends 4 life)
-Scarecrow: lacks a brain (after the concussions)

They all want something that they think the Wizard of Oz (His manager) can provide them with. Toto (Joel Tippett) follows them in their adventures). The Good Witch of the North (Brisbane + Gold Coast) provided Dorothy with a gift (in this case an opportunity to return to his real home). Adelaide + GWS are the Wicked Witches from the West (In Kurt's eyes we are wicked at least) who are trying to kill off the Kurt's needs. They finally meet up with the Wizard of Oz (manager) after many obstacles and he tells him/them they need to kill off the Wicked Witch (e.g. bending us over the table with his greedy demands).
