Riewoldt -----> Brown (if I can afford it).
Only have $2,200 in the bank.
I know that Brown's break-even for this week was 17 and that Riewoldt will drop about $5000.
Does anyone know roughly how many points Brown would need to score to overtake Riewoldt's price? He's got 107 at half time.
Thanks.

Well, i'm no mathematician :D, but if Brown scores 150 he'll rise 58k to fall about 17k short of Riewoldt. So i'm not really sure how many points he'll need to cover that 17k to take him out of your range. But it'd be a bit, easy 200+ perhaps? (in total)

If he scores over 182 you won't be able to afford him according to tooserious.net.

For those without Brown, ROK or Goodes it's a pretty straight forward sideways swap this week IMO. But I'm one that has all 3 plus Roo so unless I want a fading Pav or inconsistent Didak, it's time to think outside the square!

Here's a plan re. Rockliff that some have mooted.

Trade Roo to Rockliff this week (save 500k)

In Round 8-9 trade Trengove (who will be about 350k hopefully) to Judd (550k hopefully). (Lose 200k)

Lets say Riewoldt misses 8 games then comes back and scores a 90 and 100. He will drop to around 500k. By this stage Rockliff, if he can average around 75, will be up to 350k. Trade Rockliff to Riewoldt at this point (Lose 150k).

Seems to work well but a lot depends if Rockliff can hold his spot and score well.

Trading out a superstar for a rookie to get easy cash is a recipe for disaster. Unless Rockliff turns out to be the Barlow of the forward line, you really are asking for trouble. Unless you trade a premium for a premium, you're going to bleed points, which will cost you places in the overall standings. If winning the league is your thing then go for it, but if it's overall then don't think about it.

Cash cows are there to make money for upgrades, not injured premiums. And if you don't have at least 1 of Shuey, Bastinac, Maguire, Silvagni, Nason, Gumbleton, Hitchock, Banner, Banfeild etc, you're struggling. Trade Roo for another premium, downgrade your cash cows during rounds 6-8, get Judd (or another superstar) and profit.

I will be getting robbie gray and pocketing the extra 150k

Was this a money back guarantee Pouty?
Hahaha, my bad .
But anyway torn off the hamstring or not doesn't really matter SC wise, Gotta trade him out anyway.
Probably going to go with Brownie/Goodes.

Heath Gundry as a smokey?

For those with Brown/O'Keefe, I'm more inclined to go with Harvey or Higgins at this stage, Chapman and Goodes should drop a bit more over the next few weeks. What will Goodes price drop be by the way?

I get the feeling Roo to Boomer may be pretty popular this week.

I wanted Boomer in my team come about round 8, but it looks like he may come in a bit earlier (considering he almost reached his BE ).

Pocket about 100k in the process.

What will Goodes price drop be by the way?

Goodes will drop about 40k. Another week or two and he could be a nice upgrade target.

A swap of Roo to Brown is most likely for me this week already have ROK and Harvey. Don't trust Chapmans hammys enough to bring him in.

Hmmm, Boomer Harvey...

He's might get Kirked next week, so doubt he'll pull something that great, but you never know.

Then there's the Hawks, Melbourne and Collingwood.

He should be a fairly good pick, but you'd never know. One of the 3 I'm considering.

For those of you who traded out boomer harvey. shame on you. You cant keep a champ down.

I already have Pavlich, Brown and ROK looks like i'm going roo > booma.
