As for his Administration, from memory his economy was quite strong , with good growth and unemployment low overall,
However globalisation was in full swing , resulting in the loss of many blue collar industries decimating whole communities.
While tech industries took off , steel making and the car plants were gradually disappearing from the rust belt states.
Here we are today with the wealth gulf resulting in many Americans disenchanted with their lot in the
“wealthiest country “on earth.
You can mount the argument he is partly responsible for the massive divide today ?

What do you think ?

There was no big footy back in the day, so maybe I would have been all over those issues but I’m not here to defend Clinton or anybody else.
My discussion is the suitability of Trump to be the leader of anything, you and others seem to be arguing because others
had “ baggage “ why can’t he ?

Fair enough to expect them all to be held to the same standards but I wasn’t aware of any of his misdemeanours other than the M Lewinsky episode which was during his term whereas Trump has multiple issues which were all known before he was elected
