Yeah i've often wondered this. What do the 19yo hoons buy these days? Probably just the same Skylines that have been thrashed to buggery for an extra 20 years and still cost what they did in 2004 because they're more scarce?

They just have to buy a 4x4 for a years wages and put a stupid body kit on it as if they are trying to turn a Ford Ranger in to a Walkinshaw Commodore? Ford Mustang for like 30 thousand more dollars than a Ford XR6 turbo cost last time? A... Can't even think of anything asain and sporty and accessible. Do they still make Subaru WRX's?

There's no more affordable sports/fun cars for average people.

They still make the WRX, even with a manual transmission! At $50K it’s relatively affordable for a decent sports sedan. There’s also the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ and Mazda MX-5 if you don’t need four doors.
