Going back some time to the discussion on silver as one of Port's 4 AFL colours, I have been whingeing about the club's use of gun metal grey as a substitute for silver in merchandising, branding, etc.
People say to me "well, you know that a lump of silver looks grey, wah wah wah....". This pic from the Veronica's half time entertainment shows the reflective, shimmery silver I reckon we need to use (the colour - NOT the design of the outfits!!!).
People talk about "silverware" when they are referring to kitchen cutlery, or sporting trophies, etc. That is what I am talking about.
Our primary colours are Black and white. Secondary colour is teal/blue. Tertiary colour is silver. As a colour to use for piping, highlighting, etc it would look specky under lights (not so much in daytime).
Wtf is this s**t
Yes, I do agree. See lots wearing the pink and also Camo, but this urine colour is horrendousI think club caps in non team colours is pretty standard these days. Crow urine is an odd choice however.
You’ll probably find all clubs would have a variation of this.Yes, I do agree. See lots wearing the pink and also Camo, but this urine colour is horrendous
Looks like someone's Peckers cap from the 1980s rescued from the back window of their datsun 180B after 30 yearsHorrendous colour combo, no matter how you spin it.
I went Thursday to get one for my teenage son and all they had then were 3xlarge and little kid ones. Also wanted a hoodie for myself but they were also long goneHope none of you are thinking of going to the port store today to get any indigenous kit. Unless you’re 5 there’s nothing left.

Really like this 3/4 zip. Cool, well executed 90s/80s kind of design, nothing garish. Good to see some merch that is just black, white and silver too.
There's a few items under the banner of Nick Auditore Represents, which appears to be a generic/unbranded manufacturer of merch, and all the items are in this vein, quite nice and straightforward gear. Beats the hell out of the unbranded Best and Less tier stuff Playcorp have supplied the league with for years
