Retro sells. All teams are doing it. The more tragic the design the better. Wear it for a home game as why would you wear it away where the crowd doesn't care?

I have no issue with retro round or whatever guernsey we trot out, but I certainly do have issue with the abhorrent quality lol.
Makes it all too clear its for $ via low cost of manufacture and high markups, as opposed to you know, actually giving a shit about history. The temu quality makes it all together shallow.
Maybe that's deliberate it was so shit to begin with lets make it shitter it'll sell to the Capeys.

I love the bars, I think it should be our home guernsey. However I think those that are so anti teal to the point that they'll hate on anything and everything that isn't purely black and white need to get a grip.
As much as you may hate it, teal and this guernsey is now part of our history. Those that were kids growing up when Port first entered the AFL have known teal for most of their life. Its in our history now us much as black and white is. Its being brought back for one round in a home game (why the heck wouldn't we wear a one off guernsey at home?). Just let those that want to enjoy it enjoy it. I'm all for 'out there' clash jumpers they appeal to the younger crowd just like this one did to me when I was 10 years old.

Sure but why do we have to do such a shit job at it? They want $135 for the finished product and it looks like the designer had the original described to them over the phone. It’s unprofessional and shows a lack of care and pride and this isn’t a first offence either.
I bet they'll have the ejaculate spreading from the bottom instead of the top.
I bought one of these monstrosities at the Enid of year sale for like 15 bucks, I think it's still in a box somewhere. I didn't love it at the time but over the years I have warmed to it. People will complain but it's our history like it or not

Now that I've seen it, I'm less on board. The teal is too bright, the bolt doesn't have the weird photo quality that made it unique, and the lack of black side panels make it look off.
