Finished Squid Game last night 🔥 Loved it

Reminded me of the good Korean cinema of the 2000 era…

If you liked Squid Game, get your eyes onto OldBoy (the original Korean one, not the ******* appalling Western version with Josh Brolin) & I Saw The Devil 😝👍🏼

Park Chan-Wook movies are proper nuts. He really stood out in that era and broke through into western markets. Modern Korean cinema owes quite a bit to him.

I can so relate to this guy.....

What sort of business ???

Yea Squid Game is unreal. The original Old Boy was disturbing! You should check out A Bittersweet Life. Front Man from Squid Game plays the main role. It’s epic.

Did you get into the Korean zombie stuff like Train to Busan? Didn't mind Snowpiercer too, Parasite was good as well. Korean cinema is kicking it.

I think I've seen Bittersweet Life years ago but can't remember it well.

Old Boy is part of a trilogy of vengeance movies but the best of them.

Front Man guy is the main character in I Saw the Devil (which is more ****ed up than Squid Game & OldBoy combined)

Nah I haven’t come across much Korean cinema, only those three I mentioned. I saw Old Boy years ago. That shit stuck with me for years!

Some good cinema comes out of Asia though. The Infernal Affairs triology that The Departed was based on was very good too.

I just finished a 22km walk to Dandenong and back.
You should do the full length walk out to point Nepean , its fantastic on a sunny day also check out the quarantine station as well , so much history

Me too, I saw it when it came out and it made Tarantino look like The Wiggles with the twist and straight up deviant vibes..

Professor on the radio saying how daylight savings has a significant toll on people LOL. Wonder how much they paid him

Not wrong, the brain is a wondrous thing after all, but overstated. Probably originated from QLD and read it in a fantasy book though.

Assuming it was negative if you used the word “toll”?

I love daylight saving. More time in the evening to get out for a walk, chill a little and it’s a sign summer’s coming. Hope we’re back to relatively normal by then 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Where'd you get it George ie download from where?....Sopranos has been my go to for a long time.
rar.bg mate but you need a VPN, the website is blocked in Australia

You don't need a VPN, just change your browsers DNS settings to either the Google default or preferably the Cloudflare one. It should be done anyway, not for privacy reasons but just because it works better than default.
ISP's have blocked that website under law. Does changing DNS settings scramble your location? Never tried it, I just use the VPN.

They are just using a basic DNS block, so changing your DNS will allow you to access them without any issues. I dunno why they don't use a better blocking method, they used one to great success on a few sites after that guy shot up the mosques in NZ, so they have the capability. I won't complain.
If you have a VPN, use that, but it's not a bad idea to change your DNS anyway.
