I have been considering Ben McEvoy as an option, but his place in the Saints side is far from secure with both King and Gardiner fit. Don't think there are any other options.

Wouldn't Tippett be better to keep as a handy emergency forward though? He seems like a better bet than Gamble to hold his place anyway.

As for the original question, I fear there may not be a good answer! The stocks are thin.

He would be handy as an emergency forward, but if i take him out, i will have the cash for 2 superstars-one in the backline and one in the midfield region. And if I could get this to work, i would only have to do one more major trade for my team to look awesome.

whats your forward line atm?

I'm stuffed too.

Was going to downgrade Gamble to Davis.

Forward line reads:

Pavlich, Franklin, J Brown, Porplyzia, Rioli, Deledio, Chapman (Gamble, Valenti)

Killing me.

I am getting Ablett next week, so hopefully a rookie plays well (so I can downgrade Gamble) or Chapman is back! (Or even Valenti!).

if you really wanted to down grade

J MORTON from the halks is worth a shot with there injurys at the moment

scored 60 last round worth $94,200 ( no idea how long he will last - could be gone next week )

J Neagle $165,900 - with lloyd in doubt - may be the man down forward (lucas just coming back from injury)

there aint many more cheap guys around atm, i wouldnt really trade.

I somehow missed him. Will contemplate it. Has he been named for this week?

Yes he has but he should be taken out of the team soon when injured players return

Yep. Probably gone when Hodge and Crawf comes back though.

I was going to downgrade Gamble anyway, if he plays this week i'm happy enough.

I need Chapman back soon though.
Chapman/Valenti/Morton. - Crazily enough all 3 have a good chance of missing next week

$420,000 in the bank for my final team upgrade next week: Browne/Armitage to G Ablett. :thumbsu:

Anyone else get the impression from Crawf that his knee/s are shot? I think he will be taking an extended break. I've had knee tendonitis for years, it's initially fine when you are warmed up and playing but agony afterwards, then it progresses till you start losing confidence/power in your quads from the pain in the knee tendon (assuming its the one at the front of the knee like mine).

Anyway, that's just my random thought. Oh..I brought this up because of Morton.

Rumours abound that the Hawks injury situation is worse than being let on. Not privy to this myself, but if Morton plays well tomorrow he may be a chance for a few more games. I've picked him up in DT, though I don't need a downgrade in SC.
