Did we? We submitted our teamsheet, were around behind the scenes, and did our roles. We didn't leave anyone in the lurch.
I did acknowledge in my post that other captains have also gone AWOL at times, but no others I can think of are applying for the role, so it remains a valid concern.
I had similar doubts about Dav in the last admin race and those doubts proved justified...

I ask DenieD the same question I asked EJW - who will your 2IC be or if using another model, how do you ensure that you will remain around?

I am confident each candidate would make the necessary arrangements and so should you be. Pressuring candidates to nominate their 2IC is inappropriate imo. We are considering individual candidates for the admin role not voting on aticket.
