And this is what we need to remember when we target specific players to bring into the club and team, weigh up who is currently performing the role that the recruited player is coming in to replace or put pressure on.
When you look at it in terms of being fully fit and in form, players like Higgins offer us more and make us so much more potent then players like Armfield.

I was against recruiting Higgins until recently.
I was under the impression that he was a soft sook and around 29.
having seen him a couple of times this year, he seems to crack in a lot more than I was anticipating, has good skills and is only 26. (will be 27 at the beggining of next season).
Is a solid yes as long as salary is not outragous.

This thread has turned into a list management thread many many many pages back.
I try as hard as I can to keep it on topic especially for posters that actually come in here looking for a RUMOUR and not having to sift through pages and pages of hypotheticals.

I'm hoping the sub rule gets ditched so we can rotated another ruck man from the bench.

This is the only thread on BF I read.
Boyd will be under the Kernahan rule/clause of no ruck duties unless it is forward line duties only.
Too risky sending top line KPF into centre bounce ruck contests.

No, but you need to have another big body to help give them a break every so often and it cannot be your 1st or 2nd best KPF or KPD.Our backup ruckmen aren't in our best 22 players
