What do you mean by that? I was just thinking if the club wants members to remain members (ie not ask for discounts) they may have to step up their game as far as exclusive access goes.

I mean if we’re going to be able to stay connected to Collingwood this year, we may need more than a can’t-be-bothered approach from an underfunded, third rate media department.

yes. Only certain ones. But you need cameramen and all the like.

It may spread pretty rapidly but it isn't at the moment.
So far today there have been 600 new cases. That's not rapid.
None in Italy at this stage either which would suggest that their drastic measures are working.
I think the world has acted quickly and it's going to be affective. Pity we can't respond this quickly to climate change.

I suspect Italy has shifted to the Chinese approach of releasing all their data at the end of the day.

Your last line sums it up for me. I think it is good that the world is taking action to decrease the risks of people dying from this, but can't understand why this is seen as a far greater risk than climate change. We continue to ignore the far greater risks and take no action to stop the people and the planet dying from climate change.

I personally think a couple of good things may end up coming from this:

the world moves back towards localised rather than globalised production
people realise that large scale actions won't ahve as dire a consequence as some believe climate change action will have.

Personally and I know this won’t be of popular opinion but I can’t see Stepho playing round 1 at this point. Watching the VFL practice match today he looks so far from it and is just not match fit. Runs under the ball in the forward line and cannot get near it on the wing. Hope something changes soon!

I don’t think so. But it’s spreading pretty rapidly, and it’s not even flu season.

FWIW, Joe Rogan’s podcast on it, is a good listen.

I nearly listened to that, but Rogan is such a dunce on so many things I couldn't bring myself to listen. I'm still going with the ABC Coronacast podcast.

Means nothing. There was a few in the white the previous wee, and when those playing VFL left the ground, Daicos and a couple still stayed. Next week will be telling.
