The truth about didak and other footballers

okay pinhead, a few points to think about...
  • what good has didak done in his life, kicked a friggin football well, shit there must've been thousands of "good samaritans" in life that have played afl/vfl that have done "good in their lives"
  • the main reason we all now know didaks name so well is because he's in the paper for all the wrong reasons. jesus christ, put him straight up there with gandhi and mother theresa as icons of humanity.
get some perspective you assclown. just because a bloke can play footy well doesn't mean he makes the right judgement calls in life and didak has made some very bad ones recently. also, just because he plays for the club we support doesn't mean we overlook his indiscretions and think that he's exempt from criticism.
i'll be glad when school holidays are over and kids like you are back swinging on the monkey bars.

finally some sense

Colliwobblers = Mollycoddlers

First it was Nickie Davis
Then it was Chrissie Tarrant
Now it is Allie Didak

What sort of environment and culture has Collingwood manifested that allowed these pampered, prissy posers to continually get away with breaking team rules and generally letting their team mates and coaching staff down on a regular basis?

Heads should roll and it ought to start at the top. Eddie has always talked tough but has been as weak as piss when it comes to doing anything about it.

What a joke :(

Maybe you should wait until your mob is any good before you mouth off.:)

The President of the club announced they are working with the police and if it is proved that he did anything wrong at th end of the investigation they will take action then.

Urinated/spat on anyone lately? That's a great culture that is.

Re: Colliwobblers = Mollycoddlers

The AFL should apply their "3 strikes and your out" policy to Eddie.

Davis, Tarrant and now Didak have brought the game into disrepute. All due to Eddie's ineptitude. No wonder Channel 9 boned him.

I think you'll find Eddie isn't pleased with the club's decision on Didak in his absence, so stay tuned.

You know you are making yourself look stupid, even for a troll.

Eddie announced today if there is a reason for them to take action they will take it, at the moment all they know is he took a lift home with the guy. Eddie also stated that Didak made himself look like an idiot.

Tarrant and Johno should have been suspended but they didn't move on, Johno is playing football and not getting in trouble. Tarrant got himself into trouble at Freo, wait should their president have action taken against him too?

Davis, Egan & Cox broke curfew, yes that's really something to get in a fuss over, did they kill anyone? Get into a fight? They were all dropped from the side which is a team rule.

Just when I thought it was over. Of course that is exactly how it would have all panned out. Your ability to see into the past and change the sequence of events is amazing. Of course applying your wicked combination of muddled logic and moral outrage this had nothing to do with the fact that someone used a gun to kill another person or that the Police and government have let OMGs get out of control with many having high powered QCs as members, no, this all occurred because Didak went to a strip club. I know, we could ban drinking and strip clubs and football and motorcycles and then none of thia would happen. Where do get your crazy pills from?
Beam me up Scotty.

Over? It hasn't even begun. If you think this is the end of this saga then you are sadly mistaken. Footy clubs are good at sweeping things under the carpet but this is a bit too big and there are too many real journalists who are now looking in to this story. When I say real journalists, I mean talented, walkey award winning investigative journalists such as Andrew Rule, John Silvester, Keith Moor etc not the mentally challenged footy hacks.

Please pull your head out of the sand. Are you really so silly as not to realise that if Didak had told the police about what he had witnessed then Hudson wouldn't have been free to shoot three people a week later. All he had to do was tell the police the whole story and the cops would've been all over the strip clubs looking for him or at the hells angels bases, the police weren't even sure that Hudson was in Melbourne, they lost track of him in Sydney. Do you really think they wouldn't have located Hudson in a couple of days if Didak had come forward? After the shots he fired that night, the police would've made it a priority to get him, if only they knew a few facts which someone like Didak could've given to them.

The police already knew that it was Hudson who fired the shots before the CBD shootings

Wasn't Didak supposed to be blind drunk? What kind of worthwhile info is he supposed to have given, when he was smashed off his face??

You're an idiot if you think the police didnt know where he was.

Yeah, the police knew exactly where he was they were just too busy directing traffic and practising for the police band concert to bother arresting a guy suspected of shooting at their own. Its scary that dumbo arseclowns like you get to vote.

Yeah, being blind drunk is very convenient for him. He could've told them who they were with, where they talked about going to, where he was staying, and importantly where he had met him. The police found out too late (after the CBD shootings) that Hudson was a regular at the strip joints.

Who knows what else Didak could've told them, he was talking to Hudson for some time, who knows what Hudson told him, obviously he felt comfortable enough giving Hudson his mobile number (if we are to believe Didak's story) at the club.

There there, of course this will be huge, Wakely Award winning journalists will discover the earth shattering fact that footy players aren't smart and some (gasp) even hang out with crimminals, because essentially that is what all these suposed hard hitting journalists have dished up so far, more of the same, if it isn't Didak its Voss or Milne or (insert name/club). Can't wait for more of the same that these top notch reporters have been dishing up as journalism, of course this will be bigger than Watergate.:D Whose head is in the sand? This has been happening for years and suddenly because Andrew Rule uncovered the fact Cousins was on drugs he is a combination of Sherlock Holmes and William Shakespeare? Gee no one saw that coming did they, lucky we got good ol Andrew on the job. Tip, Magpie crowds up in the next few weeks. :thumbsu:

Thats probably what they were doing to.

You can take it as gospel sweetheart, they would know the whereabouts of this bloke at all times.

I see we have a crimminal clairvoyant here on Big Footy, maybe you should go to the Police, you seem to know a lot about it. Actually I think you are using the MSU method of investigation (Make Sheizen Up).Can you use your powers of investigation to tell who will win the Premiership this year? :p

It was an excellent article and I'm glad there is now a thread about it. Some of the blind support fans will give to their players caught up in this is pathetic. And yes, I include some west coast fans' support for Cousins (as excited as I am about the possibility of him returning to the field next week.)

No being blind drunk is what got Didak into the situation. They could have mentioned plenty of stuff, but if u have been blind drunk before u may realise that u dont take much in.....and Didak may not have been able to give them any info.

Exactly who knows......he may be of no help at all becuase he was too smashed.

Not defending Didak, he made a monumental blue, and acted like an idiot that night, and in the following few days. But people saying he contributed to the death of somebody are taking things way too far atm.

That part is absolute rubbish. Police knew that Hudson was the shooter in Campbellfield. Didak could not have added any more info than what they knew (at the same time putting himself in danger). Its the police's failure to capture him in the days following that they should be more concerned with.

Well done de LICA, absolute correct, most intelligent words written so far.
