I never thought you'd be a true believer Labour luddite.Four more years!
Kier's woes has struck a nerve to you.
My gut feel says he got six months to turn it around or he done and gone.

Only the far right like the far right. No I just dislike the far right.
From that article it sounds like he is doing a good job. Increasing taxes on capital and inheritance (not wages) to help fix the budget despite tax increases of any kind always being unpopular. Has also ensured inflation kept falling and returned to normal.Keir Starmer’s first five months in numbers – from tax rises to sinking ratings
As PM announces a new set of targets for his government today, how has he fared in his first five months in the job? Our data correspondent reports.www.independent.co.uk
Starmer is doing a good job of putting them in position to win the next election. No I just dislike the far right.
That article is very generous. He's unpopular because he broke almost all of his election promises immediately after the election. His pathetic pay for play corruption and non-apology rubbed a lot of people up the wrong too, cutting pensioner benefits, etc. Then Rachel Reeves produced a horrific budget which will make people poorer and leave the UK mired in stagnation if its lucky. From that article it sounds like he is doing a good job. Chief thinks anyone just left of centre is far right. No I just dislike the far right.
"If you don't like the changes we've made, the door is open, you can leave" - the sheer arrogance of this man is staggering, (especially considering all the freebies he was raking in too.)
Research the labour freebie scandal, Starmers bullshit non apology and being caught lying about it. He received 2.5x the next MP in donations and it is all from the one donor. Bought. Then he cut the winter fuel allowance for pensioners.Huh?
Of course that is corruption too. It's real do as I say, not as I do stuff from Starmer.Where he got some clothes and glasses and stuff.
Rubbish.
Next thing you will be saying it's corruption for a politician to give friends and family millions for PPE that doesn't work, and then not chase a refund.
It's on the minor end of hypocrisy, but the biggest sin is to hand frauds like Farage and Murdoch a way to distract from their own corruption.Of course that is corruption too. It's real do as I say, not as I do stuff from Starmer.
How long do you think people will stand such fecklessness and hypocrisy for before they get tired of it and turn to Farage? I give it one election cycle. Starmer is handing Farage the keys to 10 Downing St in 2029 if he continues on his current path. It's on the minor end of hypocrisy, but the biggest sin is to hand frauds like Farage and Murdoch a way to distract from their own corruption.
Watch it evaporate form the news as something else is pumped up by bots and grifters.
Farage IS fecklessness and hypocrisy. He's just good at conning people into thinking he's their saviour.fecklessness and hypocrisy for before they get tired of it and turn to Farage?
So you dont think starmer increasing taxes on capital (which is the main reason his popularity has fallen) is trying to reign in the excesses of capitalism? If so what exactly do you think increasing taxes on capital are?How long do you think people will stand such fecklessness and hypocrisy for before they get tired of it and turn to Farage? I give it one election cycle. Starmer is handing Farage the keys to 10 Downing St in 2029 if he continues on his current path.
I think the only compelling alternative to blaming immigrants for the problems people face is telling them the truth, that capitalism is to blame. And in government, reigning capitalism's worst excesses in, then using whatever revenues are gained from doing so to reduce the cost of living for the ordinary people.
But the Starmer wing of the party have no interest in this. Indeed, when Corbyn tried to campaign on it, the Starmer wing white-anted him. The Starmer wing are doomed to failure in government because they are under the delusion that the only thing wrong with modern capitalism is the rich are donating to the conservatives with blue ties instead of the ones with red ties.
How is the rachel reeves budget horrific? That article is very generous. He's unpopular because he broke almost all of his election promises immediately after the election. His pathetic pay for play corruption and non-apology rubbed a lot of people up the wrong too, cutting pensioner benefits, etc. Then Rachel Reeves produced a horrific budget which will make people poorer and leave the UK mired in stagnation if its lucky.
The Tories are no better BTW. UK politics is a shambles. Farage is a genuine chance to get in at the next election if this continues. Not sure how you look at that inflation chart and give him credit. Applying heavy inheritance taxes to farmers is incredibly short sighted too. Look up the changes to national insurance re wages.
Of course he is. And the people will still pick him next election because they haven't yet been convinced he's an incompetent fraud. But it wouldn't have to get the point where they'd be willing to try if Starmer was not feckless or hypocritical.Farage IS fecklessness and hypocrisy. He's just good at conning people into thinking he's their saviour.
He's good "talent" for newstainment to attract eyeballs and thus ad money.
He represents the interests of people who own the media.
And his own party.Yes, Starmer appears similar.
Corbin was smashed by media and red-scare tactics.
Those cockroaches do not make up the majority of people. But the majority is slowly being driven towards Farage by Starmer thinking he can solve the problems of neoliberalism with more neoliberalism. If that worked, the Conservatives would have made it work.I can't see it changing. Idiots in England will keep acting like it's normal to try and burn down hotels full of women and children.
It's great for getting into power, not so much for keeping it.Starmer has 4 years to turn it around. He should just go full conman and lead the smolbranes with lies and more lies. It seems to work.
No. Actually reigning in the excesses of capitalism would involve hiking corporate taxes, going after the multinational corporations with a hammer or taxing bankers' bonuses at 100%.So you dont think starmer increasing taxes on capital (which is the main reason his popularity has fallen) is trying to reign in the excesses of capitalism?
An attempt to look like he's doing something. It has the double whammy of not actually doing much of substance at all while scaring people into thinking he's doing something dangerous. It's the worst of all worlds. If so what exactly do you think increasing taxes on capital are?
Who is neoliberalism incarnate. But pretends he is a friend of the working class.the majority is slowly being driven towards Farage by Starmer thinking he can solve the problems of neoliberalism with more neoliberalism.
I feel like you're concentrating so much on the devil in opposition that you're ignoring the devil in power right now. I have no doubt Farage will fall flat on his face, he's a charlatan. But it shouldn't have to get to that. We shouldn't need to have people rediscover through painful experience that the far right are liars who can't govern. People like Starmer should be competent enough to solve problems when they get full power without making people think Farage is worth trying.Who is neoliberalism incarnate. But pretends he is a friend of the working class.
Better advertising, more online bots, more foreign influence campaigns on social media. More friendly coverage by the media oligarchy.
It was too late for those things a decade ago.Likely already too late for global warming. Likely already too late to stop full on fascism. Likely already too late to cling to decent pay and working conditions.
